CEA ratings all that matters

Putting those rediculous power numbers on a amp makes ppl not want to buy them I wish companies would understand that and rate them accordingly.

Great, thanks. Rockville is a hit/mis equipment. I've had a few of their stuff and I didn't have much luck.

Have the same amp can't even get passed 460 watts clamped .. on 4 Ohm load (266 - 466 watts) [Gain Knob ½ to ¾ not even touching 909watts] With 2 x 12 Kicker CVX12s 750rms each

so where the hell they figure 6000W at?
@BoobeeMyles Жыл бұрын
The 6000 is a peak, if course it won't do 6k @ 2ohms or even 1ohm for that matter

I have dual kicker solo baric at 3000rms with a 2400 Wolfram amp. Am I to add a amp or purchase a completely different amp over 3k.. but what am is recommended with honest ratings? Please and thank you

Look people always say don’t under or over power a sun or you can kill them I’m sort this is kind of true To much power to a sub can kill it and not enough will cause u to push the amp to its limits which will then cause clip and you will kill them lol Unfortunately there isn’t a right or wrong answer The thing you do need to understand is actual power output and impedance rise Once you look into wat the amp is rated for at the ohm you are wired at and then take anywhere from 20-40% out for impedance rise you will then have your answer It’s a little hard to just explain in short

@@bdaudio9395 thank you for the quick response, I really appreciate it. I just ordered a Wolfram 3000watt mono of which I'll be a tad bit over but at least I'm not under powering powering.

Seeing EXOcon do demo's on their 15" woofers a while back made me very hesitant about that brand, this vid on their Amp proves their product is bullsh t...... 😫

I agree that there ratings are rubbish however all jokes aside for the price it’s still some what of a good amp considering
@TripleOgTripleOgTriple Жыл бұрын
It's CEA rated correctly. That's the only number that matters anyways for most of their marketbase

Wouldnt have it.6000 watt😂

For the noobs in this subject, how many watts per channel is this thing actually giving at 4 ohms? I can't seem to find anyone who dynos and gives this simple information anymore. Yet it is the most common way people setup. 4 channels at 4 ohms, how many actual clean full range watts per channel?
@bdaudio93955 ай бұрын
This is a monoblock for subs so it’s only 1 channel u can’t wire speakers to this amp
