Just a note that the k9 10” v3 uses a 185oz magnet instead of the 160oz of the previous versions.

so the 10" has a 185 the 12" has a 190, I can't find anything on the 15" that says it's a V3 but the one I did find that were 190 also. So they basically gave just about the same to all the new V3 subs. The old V2 version had the 160 Oz. The 12 and 15 had higher Oz Magnets.

We had the 12. The V3 is the best and upgraded version. Uses the same part's as the punisher

I actually have 6 of those k9's in a suburban on a 12k broke my rear glass hinges , rear view mirror side mirror fell out ripping the truck apart , just order 6 punishers ready to swap them out, but the right encloser and electrical them things hammer, I think they like lower notes through, also have plenty of lithium dual alts , blew a few ordered the recones good to go, easy recones as well

We've actually tested 3 punisher 12's. 2 of them took almost 7,000 watts. They're some crazy underrated sub's because the original k9 blew so easy. I think it was more user error than anything. Most people have no idea where they're actually running the impedance. They think oh they're wired to 1 ohm load and that's the power they're getting. Watch a Dyno video on KZbin on a static load and that's the same power they're getting. This is why I started making videos like this, so people have an idea of what they actually run at. The V3 version is a serious improvement compared to the V1 and V2 versions. Both the V1 and V2 versions smoked and blew up a bit after 1 minute of constant 1000 watt RMS as shown in the video (EXPOSING a Cheap Subwoofer w/ Rockville K9 Version 2 vs V1 | Blowing Subs on 1000W & Best SPL Test). However in this video the V3 version goes up to 1710 watt RMS for i believe past a minute and is able to handle the power without smoking and blowing up.

This subwoofer is built from the part's from the Punisher. After making the Punisher and knowing the other sub's they made failed they used the same parts to build the V3 version. I wish I still had this because I could test it again on my newer amplifiers. I have a completely different setup now with a new power supply and new amplifiers allowing me up to 6,000 plus watt's. My power at the time of this video was limited. That's funny that number you said the other video got, that was my same exact number I got on this video. Thanks for your comment 😊

Nice ... Have you tried the American bass XFL 1222 ? It says 1500rms but I've seen more than that crazy.

I have many videos of it already on my channel. I'm going to bring it out possibly again today, just because I make improvements in my gear that allow me to do more and I learn new things everyday. I have a video of the American Bass XFL Vs. the Elite Vs. the Titan video up already also. Now I don't blow anything or hurt anything, if something sounds odd or makes me nervous I back off, I buy everything myself, this is all my stuff that I either want to continue using, sell, or giveaway. @@SubzPawz LOL yes I was watching a bunch of them last night I was trying to find that video. And the videos that you do you do an amazing job . You break things down to the fullest . And we thank you for that. And I had a question ⁉️ the boxes that you use do use the specs from the speakers. I just think the RMS on the speakers will hit a lot better . No disrespect but the videos I've been watching a lot of the guys on here are saying. The speakers will sound a lot better with the box it needs to breathe. It could be a ported box. Or a sealed box. Even a bass tube. But I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos be safe 😎🔊

@@rubenflores2870 most of the time the enclosures I use are to spec of what manufactures suggest. I also do my own tests on them with my own tests. I own about 15 different enclosures, and more each month. Thank you, I appreciate that very much. I just made a couple shorts and another full video coming today for budget subs.

Peak i believe is refering to burps max is is musicaly you know cuz different notes different amounts of power so every now and then playing a song at my Mickey go up that I it's okay should be okay my personal opinion I could be wrong.

I guess it would be what you're willing to spend. The K9 V3 shares the same components as the punisher all upgraded. Make sure you check the model, the V2 will be less money, they both have the same look and cone. The HYanka 12 & 15 were both impressive especially having a 2.5" coil. The Lord of Bass LB series is phenomenal for the price and a 2.5" coil also. The right box and good clean power are very important. The RI Audio only has 8 inch sub now and the newer 15 which is a beast if you're looking at that, but again, your enclosure and good clean power is important. I'm not sure, 1,000 is RMS and we got much more than that. Probably could have gotten over 2,000 if we pushed it more. It's brand new out of the box.

The V3 is actually a big improvement on the V2 version. It utilizes the same parts as the punisher which vastly improved the whole Subwoofer including the heat it can take. I think people that owned the V2 version were clipping their subs and that was the issue not the manufacturer fault. I've seen this personally myself time and time again. Thanks for your comment 😊
