Paulie was always a bit of a "jerk" and I don't mean it in a bad way. He was never the nice sweet kind. So even in a moment like this, you can't expect him to be sad & emotional. He was more mad & annoyed.. he says he's cold! There's nowhere to sit! Change the channel! In reality he finally said how he felt. He wasn't very nice to her & he is obviously living with regret & feels remorse.. then he finally said it to Rocky that he just can't do this no more.

her n rocky both saw the best in paulie, and he proved multiple times he wasnt such a bad guy, him forcing her to go out with rocky was his way of trying to get her to find some happiness for herself. granted, he could have been a bit more tactful, but his heart was in the right place.

The worst part of it is...he didn't do anything to redeem himself for the pain he caused not only Adrian, but for the whole family basically. He lived with that pain until his death... The only redeeming moment you can possibly consider was when he had stood by Rocky's sidevfor his training and in his fight with Dixon...but it wasn't by choice...it was all he had left after being let go from the meat industry. Other than that...he woulda still been there hauling meat So sad that going into Creed 1,Rocky lost absolutely everything that was dear to him. Paulie was the only thing he had left besides his son but he was MIA

This scene was painful watch for all of us who followed the series. Because we all saw how Adrian grew as a character and just how much she meant to Rocky. Rocky was just another bum whom no one believed in. In the ending he says he would have been nothing without Adrian. Mickey, Apollo and Duke made him into a fighter. But Adrian made Rocky a champion inside and outside of the ring. Here we see how Rocky is just so lost without Adrian. However, we also see just how much her spirit lives in him.

Paulie is bitter and dumb but he truly had Rock and Adrian's back when it counts. Dude bravely smashed Thunderlips' back with a chair to free Rocky without any fear, he was skeptical of Apollo at first because he thought he was trying to trick Rocky, he invited Rocky out to drink when Tommy thanked GW Duke instead of Rocky when he won the belt, and he himself wants to fight Tommy for being disloyal to Rocky and got punched for it. He also along with Duke was ready to fight the Soviet cornermen when Drago and Rocky were fighting after the bell.

This scene hits hard. It's relatable to folks who have have aged or got older and you reflect on a good memory as the present no longer provides happiness that you once knew that you spent time with that is no longer there. Only way to feel at "home" is to go back where it all started. The scene depicts nostalgia feels good to some but for others, it was a bad memory like what Paulie said because he treated her bad and rocky treated her well and he had enough of memory lane to think about his sister because it was a painful walk to remember. People say people have to move on. But your memories stay with you and they never leave.

The Rocky/Creed series, while a pleasure to have experienced. These were characters we grew up loving and eventually we lost so many one by one. First Mick, then Apollo, Adrian, Paulie and even Spider Rico. Rocky is someone we all loved and adored. To see him alone really hurts. Just glad him and Robert were able to patch things up in the Creed movies and let him be apart of his grandsons life, before Rocky himself is gone. It's a bittersweet franchise that's all too real, but had also taught us to fight, persevere, and never give up on our dreams.
