Besides his utter, earth shattering, one-of-a-kind voice, my favorite thing about Stuart Matthew Price in this is at the end of "Frankenstein's Place". As he waits for Brad and Janet to finish, his fingers play the last few notes by the piano; hits it perfectly and then slightly grins. Absolutely love this guy. I would marry him in a heartbeat but, alas, I think he bats for the other team.

I do love Mathew Stuart Price one of Kind voice. He is the ultimate Riff raff and i get chills. Love him ❤️ and was fortuned to meet Rob Fowler after a Show in Hamburg. We took a picture and he was very nice too

Just saw this one again in Vienna yesterday. I love it, it is my favorite version. Rob Fowler as Frank is incredible. When I first saw it 2009 I was like: No one can come close to Tim. Yet, Rob won me over. Many productions try to imitate Tim and they fail most of the time because that man is a legend himself as Frank. But Rob plays Frank and does not imitate Tim. He has is own style that really fits the character.

fun fact: stuart matthew price wrote a show called imaginary that i was in a production of and i got to meet him and he's literally the sweetest and funniest person alive. he did a workshop with some of the cast and we wrote a song for a fake musical (in this case, ratatouille the musical, the song was called hungry for more and was very angsty). so your suspicions are correct, he's a wonderful human.

this make me smile every time i watch it! its so brilliant! if only there was a properly produced DVD version of the full production with this cast. even just a cd. (i know they did that promo cd but i love the live rocked up style of the live shows) its just so frustrating that these brilliant performances were only captured on a few youtube videos. xD

also ne cd gibts bereits!! ich war in der show in frankfurt (13.4.09) und da gabs die zu kaufen am fanstand!!! Allerdings ist das iwie nicht Maria Franzén die das erste lied ("Science Fiction") singt...! Live war sie als Magenta einfach nur der Hammer da kann ich Falconrygirl einfach nur zustimmen!!!! Thats fait enough to be honest. I read one comment from a person that SMP was too good a singer, the comment was on the live show video. If you go into my favourites list you can find a best of montage of him if you wwant, he does do it a bit more growly and more rockish than here but to be honest I do agree with you. I love him as Riff but at the same time I do understand why some people don't like his version of the character.

I have actually I saw it before posting here and I absoultely hate his timewarp it was way too mainstream sounding for my taste. I like his over at the frankenstein place bit even if it is a little too pretty. But I hate his interpretation of riff. His voice is amazing I wont lie but Rocky has lost most of its edge over the years. It was orginally a rock n roll musical which greatly inspired punk, but now it comes off kinda pop which isn't to my taste at all. No offense to those who do like it.
