Since the pandemic arrived, I've found great solace in watching interviews, theres something so relaxing about them especially older interviews as the art of interviewing back then seemed to have revolved around finding out all about the interviewees life and upbringing and about the ins and outs of their current line of work, whereas now it all seems to relate to the interviewees monetary gains.

Back the 80s I worked construction, reluctantly so because I wanted to be a bodybuilder. I was a "Mason tender/operator". It was heavy, unforgiving, hard labor. I had mouths to feed so I had to go. One morning I woke up extra early and while I was getting around I noticed that the VHS movie "Rocky" was in the VCR. Since I had so much time I thought I would watch while drinking my coffee. I sat there and watched the whole movie and it motivated me so much that I had my best day at work. All day long I was playing that training scene over and over in my head and "hearing" that amazing soundtrack and I've been hooked ever since. Of all The Rocky movies my personal favorite is "Rocky 3" when wrestles with Hulk Hogan and fights a fierce Mr T "Clubber Lang". I watch The Rocky movies at least once a week. Great interview and I'm grateful for having seen it.
