Just got through rolling my fenders the other day. It was scary. The metal started bending quick. Newer cars metal isn’t as strong as it was back then. Anyways you did great. 11.5 great PB!!!! Keep it up Ky neighbor.

Awesome. Thanks for showing what these LT1 are capable of. I’ve noticed hardly anyone has suggested taking the bait and do the simple LS swap. I hear it all the time on mine. That and the optis are junk. I daily drive a 95 impala ss with same platform. Amazing what a little work will do. Plus being a woman working on these cars that are supposed to be hard is fun. Knowing the fact you are more competent than most the guys replying is awesome in its own fact.

Absolutely love this, I have darn near the same identical car in the garage, it’s got a rod hanging out of the block and I had almost just gave up on it, but it’s so so clean for a 93 after watching your videos I have decided to keep it! That 1st run after watching a second time sounded like you didnt get up on the converter nearly as much as your 11.5 run. Plus on the 1st run did i hear it breaking up as you left the line? Crazy how much swapping plugs will do! Love those easy fixes

Congrats. I bet it still has more left. I obviously am not privileged to know your combo/rpm levels, but it sure sounds to me like you're shifting out of 2nd gear awful early. IMO, Stretch 2nd gear a little more and you'll get another personal best.

It’s Rocky Mountain race week. If I understand it all the classes are trying to get the best average of said class so the actual races don’t matter. Most are trying to leave the light when they are ready.
