I am not much of a drag racer fan, but give ya mad respect for building that LT1 engine, and the numbers were pretty good for horse power. As for me I tune and modify engines for power & yes performance. I have a 2007 BMW twin turbo, it took 3yrs to modify the engine the way I want it. When I take it for a drive on the highway, I always come across a hellcat who wants a go. I just smile, cause what that hellcat don't know is I have 850 horse power underneath my hood. In todays world you gotta love the modifications you can do to an engine for horse power & performance. But overall cool video. 👍

You are doing great!!! Success takes time but you are well on your way! One bit of advice I would offer wont help your time. But roll your burnouts out a bit more and try and avoid that hookup chirp if you can. That is super hard on your transmission and driveline.

Could be lean spikes turning the nitrous on and off. If you set your afr to cutoff at a desired lean point it will cut off till it’s corrected then come back on.

Not sure on your set up as far as torque converter, but in my fourth gen camaro with a 3200 stall and drag radials making about 365 at the wheels, mine always 60' harder being at idle and just pinning it, it would flash the converter harder and would 60' way faster than stalling the car up. Like I said not sure on your set up maybe something to try. Great videos, gonna try and do one of these events myself one day. Keep up the great work and enjoy the time with your Dad.

sounds nice.. I don't know what your reaction times are. from coming off the starting line. But heres a tip. just look at the chrismas tree. when on your down time. and watch other racers, how long or short , they come of the come on the line. Time the light in your mind. when it goes green . from orange. There's always a delay when your machine. wants to actually. to move. My brothers and i did this when we race our American cars here in New Zealand. Nearly got bang on the dime. at most part. But try NOT to breakout . GLAD you are having fun though . . I,m enjoying your content

I'm really enjoy how you keep your videos down to 7 or 8 minutes. Not sure how you feel but it seems if you keep them short you would be able to take the video and edit more often with less stress. Looks like you had another amazing day of racing. Just remember the more times you stage and make a clean pass, even if it's not you're fastest or a personal best You will start to feel more comfortable and gain more and more confidence in your ability as your car starts going faster. As much as I like seeing you at the racetrack, I really enjoy seeing you and your father working and maintaining your car together also. Godspeed, 🙏 For your safety.

Try leaving at idle. Nitrous on at 3000rpm. Mine 60’s way better not brake torquing
