11:27 this has got to be an extremely proud moment for grandpa. Seeing that his legacy of farming continues with his daughter (more kids as well?) (Is mom single? Lol) and grandkids etc. My grandpa died back in 1994, and my mom & aunt sold the farm the first chance they had. Kinda irks me, cuz I'd much rather that life over what i got goin. Just be careful with the header. I run 45' MacDon Flex. That is a lot of real estate out there and the ends are in a different zip codes. My dad dropped it off/on the trailer last year... That was a real treat. No Fendt's in my area so far. All red and green with an occasional Claas in the mix. Doubt anybody will sway me off IH binders. Makes me wonder what equipment will be like should I make it to 90. Hope it serves you guys well. Always a bit of a pucker factor cutting those checks.
@RockyMountainFarmer4 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s definitely a big header. We try to make sure it’s very centered when we put it on the trailer. I wonder if the reason there’s no fendts is maybe there’s not a dealer. That’s one reason why we can’t buy a claas machine is because there isn’t a dealer anywhere near us and you have to have dealer support or it’s not worth buying.

@BRPFan4 ай бұрын
@@RockyMountainFarmer No I would strongly disagree with that. You will see how easy it is to drill a whole in your Fendt combine to mount something. My buddy bought a new Fendt and a new New Holland and they drilled a few holes to mount some of there stuff on and the New Holland metal took a lot more force to get through where the Fendt it went through like nothing. The Fendt has very weak soft metal and thats why I suggested being careful with it for what ever it’s worth.
