A 1more subscriber 👍👍 I'm a PETERBILT fan and the best ever truck I buying this is a money machine 👌 all most 3millions kms and keep driving like a king of the road 👏👏 98 model CAT 3408 and 18speed EATON just makes a normal maintenance and pulling 50ton!! I used a 43liters fuel per 100kms! No crap EGR no electronics sensors and stuffs 100% fiability 👌 never ever I get stuck 👏👏 pulling over 45 to 50ton! it's a standard heavy rules up here in Norway or Scandinavia!! Paccar has destroyed the dash in the new 389. For close to $200K it should have an air ride front end, full lockers and a real dash guage set-up.

they can't tell you the price because they are marking all these trucks up 30-40% to take advantage of the truck shortage to make up for no inventory. Why in the hell do you show a truck that is sold and you can't get one for 2 years?

I don't get why people complain about why the price is not mentioned....well, because a few months, years down the road, you dont want somebody coming in with a false idea of what the price may be, and getting shot down. You call up...and find out. These are not cars that change every year to differentiate. Also, the markup, its not because theyre greedy, but if you sell fewer rigs because of shortages, you still have the same amount of people that need to be there, to work on them, from acceptance, to delivery to customer. So where before a dealer could make a certain percentage on a sale, but make 20 sales a month, now you end up with 5 sales a month...but I guess people expect a person to keep working for 400 bucks a month...Im oversimplifying. Im not affiliated with any dealership, but its just a supply/demand, as well as just keeping the lights on. It doesnt do anyone any good if the dealer shuts down.... Also, this does affect insurance as well, accounting for inflation for claims in case of a wreck, etc. I would LOVE to have a brand new rig, but cant afford it. And thats ok. People have to stop being so bitter and envious.

Thank you for the comments. Well said! The other side to that is Peterbilt is getting charged more for all the components. So the manufacturer costs go up, therefore the dealer costs go up, therefore the consumer costs go up. I wish they didn't but that's just economics 101.

Not a lot but, theyre there, and one can just hope theyre not in crucial industries..not that they would last LOL

Good luck getting it back to title in MI. You will have to pay GST in Canada and then you will have to pay FET in the USA. What you propose looks good on the surface but it will wind up costing you more in the long run. Not even talking about all the extra time and paperwork.
