I hung with Kevin Dubrow a couple times back in the day.. I know all of you Rock Stars have a bunch of women. in the day, Kevin did an amazing rendition of Tonights the Night..Amazing!!! airdriver You are probably correct. There is a similar show, "An Audience with Rod Stewart", that was filmed in England around the same time. Same band and Rod wears the same green shirt! Worth checking out on YTube. On that show the Corrs sing this song with Rod. Definitely better looking than this dude, but I like the spirit of the song better here.

I remember watching this on VH1 about 20 years ago. After the man in the audience got off stage rod Stewart said this was not staged. I don't know who this bloke was. Rod Stewart was a good sport he let this guy have his 15 minutes of fame and the guy could sing he had a good voice I got to give him credit.

Seems Rod is going " Shit , the guy has chops.. and was a pleasant surprise" "Oh,la,la" is a tricky song "specially" if you follow Stewarts rendition. Rod turned the song into a carousel , starting verses at a whisper and closing them at his top range . and the guy KEPT UP. Okey could not hit & sustain the high notes but was smart enough to do low harmonies. Rod , gave him a wink and a nod at his cheeky approach. I was well satisfied with that. Now for a MOTHER of a gasp. Look for young 18 year old Rod singing with Long John Baldry on his PROFESSIONAL debut . MOTHER OF GOD what pipes on that man.
