If my memory is correct early December 78, going to see him again very soon before he hangs up his boots for a very deserved retirement , what a life what a legend 👏🙏

Rod had stopped performing this song because of the anti-Disco sentiment on the part of some of his rock n roll fans back in that era which was ridiculous. It was a great song back then and continues to be so. Watch a video of the original version. I am glad that he is performing it again.

I saw Rod in Oct 2021, of course he's slowing down some, I still thought it was awesome seeing him. I listened to him on cassette tape in high school. He's a legend, I think most of us who loved him them will always love him. Age catches everyone over time! ❤️

Simplesmente demais. Rod Stewart é um gênio da música. Irreverente,simpático e um grande cantor. Adoro o jeito que ele canta no palco para seus fãs. Suas músicas são lindas. Marcou toda uma geração até hoje.

As long as there’s a audience for your product, your time is never passed, I’m sure he made a nice chunk of change doing this show and the crowd seems to be enjoying themselves so keep doing your thing Rod 👍🏾✌🏾

Rod singing this song at his age is a little strange...lol Most of this tour he wad sitting down not able to even get around.
@jeffreycarpenter98172 жыл бұрын
He's not singing about himself it's about two a guy trying to pickupa girl in a bar. I saw the tour he sits for four songs and plays for two and a half hours.
