You don't know how great I feel when this just popped up when scrolling. To see Rod getting over his illness and back on stage. He is another legend and to the younger people reading, may sound a little strange, but still to young to be sick. We can't lose another legend before his or her time. In this crazy world today, we need some sense of escape from reality, and my three top enjoyments, music, sports and gardening/ projects around the home) detailing my cars, and of course, my truly number one priority, my eighty two year old mom and fifteen year old sister/niece, and my beloved pets, do just that for me, even though it's just for a little while, it keeps what happiness I have left inside me, thriving enough to want to look forward to tomorrow. You see, reality hit when, already, almost two years ago, 12/23/22, my beloved dad and best friend in the world, left us. When he retired at fifty four, it was nothing but major illnesses, one after another, all of which this man beat, and never complained, or said a word or lost his sense of enjoying every day. In October of 22, he was diagnosed too late, with stage four cancer, the doctor said he would not be here for Christmas, and he was not. December 23,2022, he left us, and me, to run the house and take care of mom and my sister. I sold my business and house in Orlando, Florida, and permanently moved to Winter Haven, Florida to run the show. I'm doing and have been doing what he made me promise to do, move forward, always give one hundred percent, never just go through the motions, but I do it, it feels, like in a daze or dream, like it's not real that he is not here anymore. Eighty was too young. I miss him more every morning I open my eyes then the day before and honestly, a big part of me left with him, I don't have the same, if any feelings for the holidays anymore, my displays for each holiday, are simple and much smaller now, but I have to do it, for my pets, mom and sister. You never get over it, you just move forward, but even doing that is like trying to scale over a twelve foot solid cinder block wall every day I awake, from morning to night. God bless everyone and enjoy every single, second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year, with the ones you love, and please, please, please, do what I now do, when I get mad, usually, like all of us, over something petty, instead of letting it escalate, stop and say, I am sorry, it's just this or that or whatever the reason, and start again, because in the blink of an eye, your whole world can change, hopefully for the better, but sometimes, for the worse.

@@billyangelino941 Glad Rod was healthy enough to play. It was touch and go whether would be well enough from his illness and not have to cancel these shows. Sorry for all your losses endured. Hope your passion in appreciating the music legends keeps you going forward.🙏

Rod's almost 80! but he's the same old Rod, love seeing the women on stage with him. I saw him at the Cow Palace in SF in the late 70's The girl I took to the concert dragged me up front, pushing anyone aside that got in her way, fun time.

This is the best band he has had in a long time. I think this is the same bunch he had in Japan. So much for the retirement he stated. That`s great, he has come back much stronger. I crecll in the late 70`s he sold out 7 nights at the Forum in Los Angels. I went 2 nights. That was the best band he ever had, he was young and put on a stellar show.
