I agree, he only got popular because he was Serena's coach. That's the only reason he and his academy gained notoriety, because he was riding her coattails. And she won 10 grand slams under him, while Richard and Oracene helped her win the other 13. And then when she stopped playing after she got hurt at Wimbledon in 2021, she didn't drop him as a coach, he dropped her as his charge, and started looking at other big names. He gets Simona next. I'm surprised that he didn't choose to work with Venus part-time while Serena was out due to her pregnancy with Olympia, but I will say this, he also was struggling to get Serena back to fighting shape after her first pregnancy, yet idk what made him stay, especially when there were rumors going around that they were dating, especially since he's already married with kids.

Andy played good in 5 sets he was never broken and only lost in 3 tie breakers. Amazingly he was able to joke about it after. Just a great commenter. He should do on court interviews and tennis analysis for ESPN.

The tours want players to play till late at night, do press after that, play with different balls, play for 11 months and train to play well. On top of that players must know every ingredient that goes into their body. They should also get the players to get capes and wear their underwear on the outside.

Sharapova was innocent too! Fact is, some competitors can't handle NOT winning when they start losing aged around 30 towards the end of theyr careers, and will do anything for just one more big win! I find it a remarkable coincidence that players only get "wrongly accused" when they are the wrong side of 30 and aren't really winning anymore or even getting to semis n finals! Well, it seems the CAS doesn't believe blood results had any inconsistencies at all, as they completely overruled that part of the suspension.

There is no inconsistent blood results in Simona's biological passport from 2013 to 2022. Only the test took in Sept 22, 2022 was a little bit higher then the rest of them but it was in normal range. This is the reason CAS rejected unanimously this test.

@@georgio1962 Indeed. Read the CAS report and it uses some weird wording. It seems Simona submitted, ITIA rejected but CAS approved, some personal test result of September 9th. Then she said she would stop playing the rest of the year and had surgery. Wasn't clear for me how the surgery, if before or after, or stopping playing for the rest of the year could affect the Sept 22nd results.

@@dontbabyme Well Maria took a drug that's commonly used amongst Russian athletes and for many years it was not listed as a banned substance until they added it to the list which Maria didn't know. She says it's for heart condition but Russian doctors often prescribe it for their athletes so the word suspicious comes to mind. 🧐

Look, athletes hire their team, so, it’s on the athletes as it should be. The athletes make all the money, benefits from fame, so more or all responsibility is on the athlete. If a coach gives you something to drink or swallow, you don’t have to. The coach works for you. Until we allow PEDs, which wouldn’t be a bad thing, all the responsibility is on the athlete, as it should be.
