It sounds very distorted on the high frequencies and vocal accentuations. Is that because the microphone level is not setup correctly in the smartphone (to high that it's clipping), or is it that the mic is simply not that good?

FARAZ according to me, camera on 3T is much better as you can capture 4k video and not on iphone 6. Speed of iphone is obviously faster. And iphone 6 will get update till ios 12 so you will have the latest ios till 2019 june. 3T will get update till 2018 only. So software wise, iphone is better. So if you are fine with 1080p video,then iphone is much better than 3T. Also gaming is faster on iphone 6.
