This Rodgers an Hammerstein’s classic is a perennial favorite, dedicated to a dear friend on her 70th birthday. In it I used a contrasting theme used as an introduction and re introduced it as an interlude leading to a powerful finish. It is based on adaptation of an arrangement I wrote years ago but still has a fresh feeling to me. Vivi, now a proud naturalized Antiguan resident, gives a typically professional and emotional performance. And she is not even a Liverpool fan!
