Easier by unitary method, Q3, B gains 2m in covering 12m distance. And total he gained 8m over C, So 12 x 8/2 = 48m Ans.

13:42 Here we can do it loke this too, is C requires 14.6secs to cover 58.4m, then how much does B takes to cover his remaining 40m. So calculation goes like this, 40/58.4×14.6 =10 secs. So B needs another 10secs to cover 40m, so total of 460+40m/100+10secs, that is 500m/110sec that's equal to 4.5454...m/sec.

14:54 There is a great formula go solve such question (3 racers) D=A×B/A+B-C Where; D=total distance A=A beat B by ? B= B beat C by ? C =A beat C by ?

Correct me if wrong. In Q3 it is stated that “Each runner travels entire distance at constant speed” then how come B gained 2 meters over C for a particular stretch?

I think so same logic we used in 3 rd ques ,how time is constant when b finishes the race
@nikhilraj6720 Жыл бұрын
As sir, say when race start it"ll finish at same time.. Explanation : Suppose A finish the 500 m race in 100 sec.. So, B cover only 460 m in 100 sec Also C who cover 441.6 m in 100 sec.. As A finished the race in 100 sec., And B and C also take 100 sec but they not reach the finish line.. Conclusion:🤧 So, time taken by them is equal i,e constant.. Hence, Distance is directly proportional to Speed.. Hope this will help you guy's..❤️

In first question answer is quite illogical because A also covered that 25 m distance in 5sec that's why he is ahead of B by 25 m or 5 sec ... correct me if I'm wrong 😊

B was 25 m behind A when , A crossed the finish line and took B 5 sec to cover that 25 m to cross the finish line . Hope it helps
