Last question can also be done by distance method For gold, 40% and 35% mixed to get x%, here distance ratio becomes 4:1 as qty ratio is 1:4 hence x% will be 36% Similarly for Silver, 60% and 40% are mixed to get x% which can be calculated by distance ratio and it will come out as 44% Thus gold:silver is 36:44 or 9:11

At 7:33 the ratio is not boys and girls, the ratio is boys to girls.. So i think the ratio for class A should be 2:2.5 , similar to the previous question salary was 2016 to 2017 was 4:5 i.e increment in salary in 2017 was 5(1+1/4)=6.25 Am i right or wrong sir ?

Sir in that precious stone question, its not decreased to, its decreased by. I think it means that the cost of stone will be equal to the cost of the parts of stones + 18.8L. Please let me know if I'm right or not. Other than that I'm very satisfied with what is taught here

Here, when we calculate the difference 144units - 50 units = 94 units. This 94 units indicates that the initial cost decreases by 94 units and that will be equal to 18.8 lakhs as mentioned in the question.

Then you can either try the distance allegation method or rationalize the equ. in 6:20. The distance method is better suited here though if the ratio was different.

Suppose if the ratio is 1:5, then we will assume weight 'x' for alloy A and weight 'y' for alloy B. Keeping them as (2x+3x)/(7y+8y+5y) = 1/5 , we solve and get x/y = 4/5. Keeping x and y as 4 and 5 respectively, calculate the relative amount of gold and silver in both alloys and thus their ratio.

In last question, shouldn't the ratio be G : S : C A - 2 : 3 B - 8 : 7 : 5? Because we are given 40% S, 60% G in A and 35% G, 40% S, 25% C in B. According to this, the answer should come out to be 10 : 10, i.e., 1 : 1?
