Rodney seems more relaxed here than usual. That's good. Some shows he is so hyped he doesn't give the audience much time to laugh jumping from crack to crack. Most of the jokes here would end up on the 'No Respect' album. There's a few I hadn't heard before. His joke file had to be enormous.

For 20 years he regurgitated the same jokes, better and better honed in the course of the years. In the end, people knew the jokes in advance but asked for them again and again anyway, like children to whom you have to read the same bedtime story for years.

@@thespy7795 No genius! Rodney did not start making regular appearances national TV shows unlit the late 60s and his jokes changed drastically after he started going on the Dean Martin show in 1972 and this was in 1978

It's the same jokes he uses All over in every show. Ive watched everything with him over the last month. And as brillant as he is, he is telling the same Jokes over and over.
@robsoldstuff16704 жыл бұрын
He does use all his jokes again and again but throws new ones in too times were different no youtube or really anything back then so all the comedians used there stuff for eons over and over again

And he used his famous line "What a crowd, what a crowd" to the opening of his routine!!!! Maybe he should have reconsidered 👌
