We only got Wendy Williams around 2015/16 and I had just had a complete mental breakdown and had moved back home to mom and dad and was completely out of it. I was basically broken and my mom, the ultimate military woman, had no clue what to do with me, so she would plop me in front of the TV after I finished cleaning like a crazy person, while she ran errands, and their TV was always on BET and Wendy would come on at 10am. Slowly but surely Wendy helped me escape my own head and I was reminded that life existed and at least I wasn't a celebrity 😂. Wendy was part of saving my life, and I not only miss her, but I am so sad if this is how it ends for her. That lady wasnt perfect and did some side eyeing stuff, but she really did help some of us as well, and not enough of us speak on that

So glad you shared this. I’ve seen many people speak on it. I think Wendy felt the love, that’s part of why she was committed to her purple chair. She would shout-out people in prison, read letters from fans during her after show and display gifts from her supporters. I believe she’s done much more good than harm in her life and that’s what it’s about ❤
