RODDY ALVES is a larger than life personality who has spent the last eight years better known as the 'human life Ken doll' - but now, he is transitioning into a woman. Due to Roddy’s lifestyle, love for fashion and cosmetic surgeries, he has stood out among many other men and has described himself as “the life and soul of a party.” Over the years, Roddy has been regularly snapped wearing his signature beautiful blazers, flaunting his artificial looking face and constantly having plastic surgeries and body modifications - he has been asked to take part in many photo shoots, television shows and TV reality shows. But there has always been something missing for Roddy - he began to realise that he did not want to be a 'Ken doll' look alike after all. He wanted to transition and become a woman. To this day, Roddy wishes to be referred to and known as ‘Roddy’ and ‘he’ until he has fully completed his transition journey.

This person has endured so much! I can't even imagine. I honestly struggle with shopping for clothes. I am not one that has enjoyed salons of any kind. I spend very little time in the mirror- once in the morning, brief checks in the car between tasks that's about it. I just keep my appearance as clean and simple as possible. I tend to prefer to go about my day in athletic gear. I do clean up nice - or so I've been told. I do like to look proper meaning i look i belong where ever i am but I really cannot imagine putting forth the effort this beautiful soul does. Happiness and blessings upon you beautiful soul!

Females are more naturally drawn towards certain feminine things, where as men are more likely drawn towards masculine things. I assume it’s more to do with attracting the other sex for reproduction purposes- given females tend to be more attracted towards masculine men and men towards Feminine women.

There's a repeating pattern with all these people who turn to plastic surgery to "fix" themselves; they were all victims of bullying or some sort of abuse that left them scarred. Instead of trying to heal through therapy or spirituality and confront the deep psychological wounds--they redirect the attention on the part of themselves that's easier to modify in the physical realm --> their bodies and faces. It's a vicious circle though, and even if they attain some sort of temporary relief and happiness, it'll never last because "it's the soul that needs the surgery."

Many reputable plastic surgeons in the film would refuse to operate after all those surgeries. The thing about them is they go to areas that are willing to break regulations to perform the surgeries. Most of the people are who perform them aren’t even real doctors or they are plastic surgeons. There some doctors who understand the gist of some of these surgeries but aren’t expertise

The bullying IS an issue, but lesser so. Likely she was not protected then...I doubt anyone had her back as a child. This is all coping with core childhood trauma. Everyone does this in their own way. The only way to heal and grow passed it is to begin the journey of addressing that pain head on and actually feeling and processing all the surpressed emotions from that time and to give ourselves what we didn't have then. That being said...she can do what she wants with her life. My hope is she finds true, authentic joy.

Rodrigo, if you are reading this I hope and wish only the best for you and all people dealing with body issues. I have my own but no way to pay for it. My teeth are horrific. I was diagnosed with a very rare disease and part of the treatment is pain medication. Between acid reflux and dry mouth, my teeth started rotting. I wish I knew how to deal with this because I don't smile anymore.

Teeth don't rot by lack of saliva if you have a haltgy diet. they rot when you eat sugars and carbohydrates in general. That's what feeds the bacteria in your plaques. Go on a low carb diet (for example keto, Dukan or Atkins) and wash your mouth several times a day with for example 2-3 drops of tea tree oil in 50 ml water, xylitol and/or coconut oil. All of them are anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Get an electric tooth brush from Braun series to brush your tooth at least 2-4 times a day with a sensitive brush. Drink antibacterial beverages such as grean and black tea (unsweetened of course). Never drink anything sugary such as fruit juices. brush your teeth 15 min after every meal if you can. Tooth rot is all about wrong diet and wrong tooth care!

Body dysmorphia is when the brain misshapes the body to the brain then how it actually looks, however, gender/sex dysphoria is when the brain is under tremendous distress as it does not match the physical secondary sex features.
