There's a clinic in Bondi where four women have died from breast augmentation through anaesthesia mistakes and had ambulances called for others as well. The average person doesn't know the difference and these clinics exploit them. It's really off.

It seems it was a long and well assisted process. She has a supportive family as well. Transitioning I do get, though, and there is plenty of anecdotal evidence (even studies done) which show that many people with a particular hang-up about an aspect of their appearance really do go on to be much happier after surgery. I have known several people who have had one procedure done for purely cosmetic reasons and gone on to be much more comfortable in their skin as a result of it... which makes it harder to argue against ANY cosmetic surgery. Just a thought :-)
