This. So many journalists have a habit of tainting their media with their own views as opposed to just giving people the facts of the matter. People should be left to formulate their own opinions of what the media shows them, not have their opinions spoonfed to them by the media they watch. All the American mainstream media channels on both sides of the political divide are guilty of the latter.

@@EnglishLad I was thinking the other day, if news “reporters” are now “opinion” reporters; and this certainly applies to both the left and the right, can they not then be barred from locations that require press passes? I answered my own question by looking up bulow v von bulow 1987. The SCOTUS at that time framed that the 1st amendment right to freedom of the press applies to “every sort of publication which affords a vehicle of information and opinion.” So unless someone challenges that ruling I have to say I’m barking up the wrong tree. Honestly I felt that argument was a bit of a slippery slope anyway.

There is not a single study that can definitely prove that a fetus can feel pain at any point, any study claiming it can is ignoring the psychological factor which can’t be detected.

Because laws are decided by old a-holes not scientists. If the murder laws were defined by scientists a man who kills a pregnant woman would get either one count of murder or two depending on what stage of pregnancy it was. If it was early? One. If the woman was carrying it to term? Two counts. A fetus doesn’t fit the scientific definition of alive until later in the pregnancy and abortions happen in the early stages. Late abortions are really just induced labour.

if a pregnant woman is killed, you’d guess she’d keep the baby obviously unless told otherwise so the killer would’ve taken two soon-to-be lives, even tho the kid isn’t born yet. if unfit parents decide they can’t support a child for whatever reason it’s much more responsible to abort it rather then raise a child irresponsibly just for it to grow up and be a degenerate or go into foster care. if a woman is raped she’s supposed to dedicate 10 months of her life to carry your baby, many women almost bleed out giving birth, especially young girls; while you can go live your life i have to ruin myself having a baby that could’ve literally killed me and the baby is now considered the governments property? is this fr? anyone that needs an abortion and is willing to get one clearly isn’t a good fit to be a parent

The issue now is that back in the 70's the Supreme Court created the 3 abortion laws, and now the Supreme Court is saying, "Its not up to us to create laws, we interpret laws. So we are over turning this and sending it back to Congress to create a federal law, is it their job and role within the government." Pretty much saying they had and have no authority to have created those rules in the first place. And because Congress has not made a law on the federal level, its falling to the states to create the laws as stated by the 10th amendment. Everything here is because, Suprise Suprise, Congress cant do their job. Thats the main issue, that The Supreme Court who's job it is to Interpret the Laws that Congress made, in fact created laws. a GROSS violation of the constitution that was kept in place because of political bias in the Supreme Court Justices until now.

it's not funny at all and at the end of the day it was always Roe's choice. As it should be in a free society. Just because one can regret a decision one was free to make is not a reason for taking away all choices. For every Roe who regrets, there's a woman who never regrets it because it was the right choice for her, a choice she made of her own free will. Women are free persons with the same rights to liberty. No government shall infringe on these rights, especially when it comes to controlling a women's body. Forced birth is horrendous. Women are not the property of anyone. Next, they will come for all women's reproductive rights, like in theocratic states where women have zero control over how many children they have, forcing women in those countries into forced labor and poverty forever. That will never happen here, no matter how much you wish it to be so. So sorry.

I got a vasectomy. So I'm good. If you and all other feel men, should be responsible, allow men to get a vasectomy, without reason. Yeah. Remove the criteria or requirements that dictates if a man is authorized to get a vasectomy then all we have to worry about is men transmitting or receiving STDs. Because in all honesty men are ducking with out a condom anyway. So you might as well minimize one risk (getting a female pregnant) Vs 2 risk (getting a female pregnant and sharing STDs) by allowing men to get a vasectomy.

I don’t know why people try to control even a women’s body . A body that is not theirs . Who are y’all to say what I can and can’t do to my body. 2022 and still people wanna tell others what to do with a body that is not their own . And yes ones she is preganant it’s no longer her own body ,but then again why bring in to this world a child that a mother doesn’t want . That baby will be sent or adopted by someone we don’t really know what will do that child . The government don’t give a fuck about those kids . They don’t care about the ones alive much rather less the ones that are still not born. This is just a political thing ,this has nothing to do with saving baby’s .

@@iamjustme1 they do have the right to say no or use a contraceptive. But shit happens, and we have found a medical solution that has been legalized through wade v roe. If a woman does not want to birth and raise a child, fuck no, she shouldnt have to ruin her body and life just because some people are special snowflakes and say that that *group of cells* is worth more than her now. Right to kill a living human in the name of privacy Fantastic

"I was sitting in O.R.'s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. 'Norma', I said to myself, 'They're right'. I had worked with pregnant women for years. I had been through three pregnancies and deliveries myself. I should have known. Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that's a baby! It's as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth-that's a baby! I felt crushed under the truth of this realization. I had to face up to the awful reality. Abortion wasn't about 'products of conception'. It wasn't about 'missed periods'. It was about children being killed in their mother's wombs. All those years I was wrong. Signing that affidavit, I was wrong. Working in an abortion clinic, I was wrong. No more of this first trimester, second trimester, third trimester stuff. Abortion-at any point-was wrong. It was so clear. Painfully clear.[3]" Mccorvey (the roe in Roe v Wade) in her book Killing other human is wrong and it has nothing to do with privacy I think the misinterpretation of constitution went far on this one!

A living human can live on it's own without an incubator. A fertalized egg is a parasitic being that needs a host. If the host is unwilling or if the host is at risk it is none of your fucking business. Because it is not your fucking body. Mind your business. Don't think that your self percieved "riotous" idealisms mask your desire to control women's bodies and punish women for having sex.
@ethanredwol22755 жыл бұрын
Nikky Smokes So a man or woman in a coma that needs to have life support to live is not a living human being? Does there life matter less because they need machines to keep them alive? Just because a baby needs an incubator does not mean it’s not a living human being. Also, do you even know what a parasite is? A parasite comes from another species and INVADES the body of a completely different species. Therefore making a host out of the new species and feeding off of it until either the parasite is killed or there are no longer any resources for the parasite to feed off of. So a baby can not be a parasite because the mom and the baby are of the same species. Learn some basic biology dude. It’s not hard.

Basicly the federal government can only do what is listed as federal responsibility in the Constitution. Most federal power comes from regulating interstate and foreign commerce. Since most medical care is carried out within states and not in interstate commerce then it is up to the states to regulate such care which is why the states issue Physicians license and not the federal government like FAA pilots licenses or radio transmission license. The tenth amendment is where the rest of the constitutionality of the right to privacy is found "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
