I’m currently at the Appleton terminal, a newerish program. You eat breakfast at 5:30 and have to be in the classroom by 6:15 to fill out the lunch sheet, clocked in by 6:25. For the most part same thing but I didn’t get drug tested again,tomorrow we are doing the roehl way and spend time on the ranged. I got assigned my instructor and the truck I’ll be learning on which will be an old international. 🤟🏾

Drug test ?? If roehl pays for DOT and testing before hand , would you have to take anther one during first days of orientation? Thanks .. 💯

William Hughes its quite easy. Just give everything you got.

Its mostly assessment with the crouch and walk since I am a bigger guy and I have always taken a knee throughout my life.

William Hughes you wont crouch. They have you perform 3 excercises. One they have you do 5 standing crunches, 5 leg extensions on each leg, and 5 arm lifts on each arm. Thats it. I have had issues with my knee because of my military career so i know you can doit

I'm going to Appleton for the gycdl program and I had a buddy who went through it in July and he said something about a crouch and squat test. Thank you for your service by the way.

William Hughes ah... ok.... i went through Gary.. and i had my CDL so thats probably why they have you go through all that. No worries id do it again in a heart beat. Dress warm.. seriously.... it gets cold and windy...

Does roehl do a road test at the end of orientation or at the end of your training?????

Yes they do. They want to make sure you are capable of being trusted with their equipment and their loads as well

i'm going to roehl in october. i told my recruiter i have a current DOT and physical sent them copies of it. They told me i need to get my CLP before i go to training. So I am curious why you needed to get a physical with them and if you already had your CLP before you went. In Indiana you have to have a DOt physical before you can test to get your CLP. Can you shed some light on this? Also as of now what is your impression of roehl having been with them. Is it a good company and how does the home time work.

Carter 1094 Its their company policy to get a new one, regardless of how new or how old yours might be. You also have to do a physical ability test. They hook you up to a machine and they test the strength of your arms, legs, and core.

basically is it a good company to start with. do they have good affordable benefits, was the training good, do you get a good amount of loads and miles, are the dispatchers dicks, is your truck nice, is the pay actually .41cpm when you start?

Carter 1094 yes.. but its worth it. The training you receive is top notch. At least mine was. My trainer broke me 9n right out of the gate. He and I are friends on Facebook and we talk. We talked about everything from work related issues to football and beer.

Crip Franco for the get your own cdl program, I do not know. I had my own prior to getting hired but it took 2 days to hear back from Roehl

hair tests can only go back as far as the length of the hair sample, they say they can go up to 6 months back because that is as far back as the company will pay to go back. basically every .5 inch is equivalent to 30 days, they need at least 1.5 inches to be satisfied. if your hair is longer and they are able to take a 3 inch sample it'll go back 6 months, 2 inches would go back 4 months.

@@dallasaggie1004 I haven't started school yet but roehl sent me to the clinic for DOT Physical And Drug Screen which was paid for will there be another while in school or is that the only test i heard u say on day one
