I know ur not a dermatologist but I was wondering what ur opinion might be...I am allergic to Urban Decay eye primer and BareMinerals eye primer. I had the same reaction when I mixed my foundation with a Becca liquid luminizer. My eyelids became red and swollen. A few days after, they got dry and flaky before healing. I did actually go to the dermatologist before I found out what product or products were causing the reaction. His advice was to stop wearing makeup for a month and introduce one product at a time for a whole week before using anything else. That’s when I discovered that I am allergic to those 3 products. What ingredient/ingredients do u think might be causing me the reaction? I use BareMinerals liquid eyeliner, BareMinerals mineral mascara (the pink tube), and BareMinerals round the clock eyeliner in midnight in the inner rim. And these products have not caused any reaction. I have been using this combination since January 2019.

Lauren O’Connell Beauty TV thank u. It has been so frustrating. I had been wearing eyeshadow and a variety of eye makeup for about 2 years before running into any problems. Most eyeshadows now, without eye primer of course, cause my eyes to tear up and they keep tearing up until the tears wear off the eyeshadow around my eyes. I use BareMinerals powder concealer around my eyes w no problem. I also use Clinique Beyond perfecting foundation and neutrogena healthy skin foundation. I also use the BareMinerals powder foundation. I don’t use all three together of course but I switched back and fourth w these 3. I don’t know if that helps. And I do apply these foundations on my lids w no problem. I just introduced the neutrogena foundation to my skin a month ago so I’m hoping it continues to work fine on my skin.
