ROG Ally Completely Breaks if you calibrate the inputs 🙄 2nd console. Same issue. ASUS FIX NOW!! 🙃

My first Ally had stick drift and now this one the D pad is skipping and jumping across 2 spaces randomly. The build quality and quality control on these is disgustingly unacceptable for over $1300 AUD. #asus FIX IT

Update: Both units were returned to JB Hi-Fi. 3 other people also returned there’s at the same store over 2 days. First unit was fully updated. Second one didn’t bother. Calibration bricked them both regardless of software updates. Do not buy!

so lucky mine doesn't do that been using for 5 months. Even though i do so much calibration and setting deadzones, but still good in playing fps over the bed or anywhere.❤

You have to Reset the axis that you just calibrated. If do calibration if freeze other tree inputs. So the solution return everything to default and do not do calibration

Did you update everything, which includes updates from MyAsus , updates from Armoury Crate and windows updates in full? All 3 need to be updated fully and it would also include a bios update too, total amount of time for updates on the first day should be around 3-4 hours on a 800mbps internet connection

Already answered this. But yes the first device I had I updated EVERYTHING. second device I didn’t bother and went straight to what bricked the first one. Boom. Same again.

When they’re working well they’re amazing. But if you ever have any issue there’s literally no support. They’re still too new in my opinion

It's been a while but I got the same issue because of steam running in the background (steam automatically took over the controller with steaminput and it was a mess).

Bought a 3rd one 4 months on and it’s working fine out of the box. Too scared to calibrate though but I’m lucky it’s running better

When I was playing forza, the throttle and brake were shocking. You’d go to brake and it’d be like nothing nothing nothing and then full lock up. Same with the throttle trigger. I could see on the calibration they were way off. And as soon as you calibrate one, the other 3 inputs die.

Look man if you still have the Ally just sent it in for a warranty RMA what they gonna do is swap out everything and they gonna give you the new motherboard ANDDDD fix the MicroSD controller chip issue ANDDDD put a heatsink on the MicroSD slot thats what they did with me and i just got mines yesterday and that baby work soooo sweet 👍😎

When I took it back she said 3 other people returned Ally’s in the last two days and 1 of them swapped for a Legion go. JB Hifi wouldn’t match the $1099 for the Ally so I wasn’t paying $1600 for a Legion

It clearly says press A to calibrate and you just press the trigger without pressing A! Until you press a your calibration will not start.

This was my second unit which I didn’t update. My first device was fully updated and same issue. And yes I’ve done all that. I wasted all day Sunday trying to fix it.

Have you not got insurance on your bank card or home insurance? I'd just claim for them both if you have proof of purchase, people pay for insurance and never use it, it's what its there for don't just pay and not use it😁
