This sport is so demanding. The top four players have pushed each other several notches up. We all are witnesses of incredible matches. Federer showed last year that best statisticians can't predict players performance. Let's stop pretending we know what is going to happen in tournaments and use our energy to fully appreciate this gift of tennis a very high level.

He's like a dancer, what graceful natural movement! Just watch closely how elegantly he picks up the ball with racket and sole of his shoe! (slow mortion!) - at 1:30-1:32 - Federer just rolls the ball up with the side/underside of his shoe...

After Roger's 2 rounds so far -Most Australian Open matches won (9 ahead of Edberg) -Most Grand Slam hardcourt matches won (2 ahead of Agassi) -Most Grand Slam matches won (17 ahead of Connors) Needs - 4 more weeks to equal Lendl's record weeks in the top 2 - To compete in the other grand slams this year to equal Ferreira's record of consecutive GS tournaments. Fingers crossed he can improve his incredible grand slam 1/4 finals, semis, finals achievements

One only needs to watch his movement and effortless touch to understand why he is the greatest. He exudes the "champion aura" that no one else can. In absolutely no way is it hating on either Djokovic nor Nadal (or er Andy Murray - who i like). As a tennis player, it simply means Federer is the consummate player's player.

He's always a chance, especially considering he's won a grand slam in the last 6 months. He's also coming in fresh having not played a lead in tournament so his body should be good and he doesn't have to worry about Rafa this year. But this is possibly the hardest grand slam for him to win because of the slow courts and heavy balls which definitely favours Djokovic, Murray etc. So I think he can win but he will have to be at his absolute best to do it.

Don't ever doubt Federer he just loves to prove people wrong. For example. 2008 AO semis lost to djok, 08 wimby and french lost to Nadal people started talking... then he won the US open .After 09 AO final people talked about Fed's decline... Fed then won the french and wimby that year and then won the AO in 10. Then after not winning a slam in 11' people again talked about his decline... then he won wimbledon in 12'. Stop doubting Fed guys he's ALWAYS one of the top contenders for #1

Hey youtube I need the song from the ao ad which aired on prime seven. There was this electronic song or something and I would really like the name of it. The ad was this slow motion thing of people playing tennis. Please help and thanks in advance.

I saw Federer playing yesterday in Halle. It was amazing. Federer has an aura which sourrounds him that no other tennis player has. Federer makes things look so easy. As seen in this video it looks quite lazy as he plays but it's perfect and looks so simple. When I try to play lazy and wanting to make things look easy my balls go into the net. Federer's don't. He can hit the ball perfectly in every situation. I admire that.
@lonersanonymous11 жыл бұрын
That's why it can be frustrating watching him at times (ie against Nadal). But it's hard to imagine we'll see a more complete player and raw talent ever again.
@mrhash1011 жыл бұрын
yeah, you're right. I mean, I love Federer myself; die-hard RF fan. I just seem to doubt him every time. Personally, the AO court no longer fits his style of play. WImbledon and the US Open are more likely to be winnable. Your opinion?

@KimAaron2611 жыл бұрын
Hmm its hard to say... Because the AO is so freakin hot that i bet the ball moves faster through the air. Whereas at the US open its just really humid and heavy. Wimbledon is a toss up for me because the 2011 courts seemed a little slower than the 2012 courts...
