@benjaminrier76413 жыл бұрын
Hi, can you explain gripp and fingute pressure for the 1hd backhand? When hitting the ball are all fingers loose or what fingers are tight ? I have a 1hd backhand and and for balls higher than the hips I often have noch control or can get not enough pressure to the ball. So I cannot get enough pressure on that one. Is the racket too light with 300g or perhaps the grip pressure is too loose? thanks
@NgoTheVinh902 жыл бұрын
They are just as tight as your normal grip. IMO, just try to hit the ball in front of you with a decent racket drop in the forward swing and you should be able to create enough top spin. It won’t feel as good or have as much power as a shot around waist high, but at least you can keep the point going. I would be lying if I said I don’t have problems with a high 1HBH myself, but the ball must be higher than my shoulders to be a really tough shot to hit with top spin. Another option is to play a BH slice, which I think is a crucial shot if you play 1HBH.
@wildanekaputra912 Жыл бұрын
hitting a 1hd backhand on high balls are hard, that's a fact. not specific to you. even nadal abused federer's backhand with heavy topspin high balls for years. I'm only recreational but my current backhand adjustment for high balls is to change my backhand grip to make the racket face even more closed using semi-western grip. or just use the backhand slice. make your slice good enough that it becomes a weapon.

@LoveTennisOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean about the ball, you need a different view from behind player for that, then you can’t see technique. For music can always mute
@asamgal56824 жыл бұрын
Love Tennis Thanks for the answers, some parts of the sounds are ok because it's goes with tje flow of Federer, only the voice I guess, like a celtic ones... I was talking about the incoming balls but it's just my point of view because I am kind of struggling with low, hight balls on my one handed backhand, never know on time if I will drive it or just make a slice. This video helps. Thanks
