Will Fed get his revenge on Novak this year? Is the stars, finally aligning for him?
@alexstojanovich6993 жыл бұрын
No! He has no chance against Novak...
@Michael-vg5tl3 жыл бұрын
Don’t think so. He had no business losing in 2019(outplayed Novak 95% of match), but Novak just too clutch in the important moments!
@samuelsessions28173 жыл бұрын
Who knows. I was at the 2019 match and he was tight from the start. Neither player was at his best. Djokovic is so difficult to beat, and of course Federer has to get there, but I think he’s reconciled himself (if he ever needed to) to Djokovic passing his records, sincerely doesn’t care, and would be likely to play more freely if he gets that far. But to be playing this well, and thinking this well, with so little match experience for such a long time: astonishing.

Roger wakes up in cold sweat and remembers 40-15. He’s calm and collected on the outside but he a thousand percent has a fire raging inside of him to avenge Novak in that final. And I have a feeling Novak will be so overwhelmed by the amount of power that will come his way from rogers side of the court that roger will hit his way to a title. Can deffo see it happening. After this roger will gracefully retire safe assured of his goat status

It is a crying shame that they haven't caught Djokovic taking whatever he is taking. I wonder if he hired Lance Armstrong's old trainer? If it wasn't for him stealing Roger and Rafas tittle they have worked so hard for without needing to cheat their records would be amazing!

We already know about Roger always tennis Magician, And king of Grass court. I think this year we can see Roger -Novak final and Roger will win his 21st Grandslam title and maybe will retire from tennis life. 🤔🤔
@darijokesar57033 жыл бұрын
Good luck with that :). Your king of grass has never beaten Novak in Wimbledon finals (played three times) and hasn't beaten Novak in Slam since 2012. Soooo...good luck with that

It was a battle of unforced errors . The guy with fewer errors won. The quality of tennis was really sub par . The kind of errors I saw I am surprised Norrie made it to the 3rd round. Really pathetic level of tennis . Compare that to Zverev vs Frit ..the quality was much better, the same for Medvedev vs Cilic.

The great Federer does need more and more competitive matches to get fully match: fit and sharp. Well done so far, nevertheless.
@hymansahak1813 жыл бұрын
Roger’s level from today won’t cut it next week. His first step to the ball is way way way to slow and he is always late to the ball causing shanks and balls not centered in the middle of the racquet thus landing 5 feet before the service line if he connects. As such, his forehand is no longer a weapon, it’s way to loopy and he can’t even finish points when he has to with his forehand. His backhand is a liability as always. His unforced error count is astronomical and he is losing 95% of the points going over 8 shots. His body language is sloppy, his shoulders are down and we don’t see fist pumps and come’ons anymore. His stamina is also very suspect as his first serve percentage and speed during a match declines set after set likely due to fatigue in legs and knees. And as always his break point conversion rate and being opportunistic at key times is awful as his mental game collapses when it counts (he should have converted one of those two break points to close it in three and screwed up once again). All this to say that with this poor level and the good quality of players coming up, unless Roger finds 2 to 3 new gears, he will be dismissed very fast.
@mrgrimm533 жыл бұрын
That sums it all up just right. Especially his forehand is what is striking me the most.
@KrazyJP43 жыл бұрын
Yep, solid analysis. Roger's level and rhythm has risen astronomically compared to his past few matches but he'll be going into the deep waters next week. He will have to take it up a few notches to beat people like Medvedev
