I find that i keep coming back to watch this video because Roger is just too good. I love watching him perform. And, the old band nerd in me coming out, I just think it's so cool that he incorporated the timpani. Don't see a lot of those in Rock & Roll :D

Roger Taylor has got to be the best drummer in the world!!!! roger never gets enough respect for his drumming, maybe because queen was never particularly drum orientated, but if you listen to some of their stuff, particularly (Sheer Heart Attack, Liar (just a few examples)) the drumming is very rock and even as time went on the drumming is impeccable and if you listen closely there are some great subtlties there that influence the song. I think he's a fantastic drummer and very under appreciated. (Drum solos are great!!!)

have a look at the Hyde park ' Stacked Actors' solo that the Foo Fighters's Taylor Hawkins performs. with the exception of Roger's enhusiastic tympani tomfoolery its a great example of a current player playing homage to one of his idols... awesome
