No wonder they called Roger the king of the talkbox, this performance pure perfection. I remember being a junior in high school in 1987 when this timeless hit came out, Roger rest easy now brother you are looking at the face of Jesus now. RIP Roger Troutman and son (Both on the talkboxes) I don't need to go into a rant about people saying what Roger did was Autotune because It's Not and I guarantee the person who created the plugin, Roger Troutman was not a name that came to mind and as an alternative to talkbox/vocoder didn't either.

Can y'all young against please stop calling talk box autotune?? They are two totally different things. Auto-Tune requires zero talent It's just a vocal processor that a child can sing into with no skill. Top box requires you to be able to play a keyboard or a guitar to be able to use it. With talkbox You are replacing your own vocals with the vocals of the keyboard or the guitar. YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE NOTE THAT YOU SING.

These celebrities are humans just like ud behind all that glitter and spotlight. So when they need their privacy, or if we see them behaving like us ie like humans, lets give them the room for that. They be dealing with messed up stuff just like us and worse enough having to do all that in front of a crowd.

Why did Larry have to kill roger then commit suicide 😭
@VENUS.SE7EN4 жыл бұрын
Roger expressed his desire to work independently. Nothing justifies Larry's actions at all, but at the time they had fallen behind on finances for the second time that decade. So, Roger wanting to go a separate way was probably the straw the broke the camel's back for Larry. It's so fucked up, though, because it really could have been avoided. Roger didn't deserve that.

wow, floored here from back in the day. Any explanations on the suck tube frequency thingys??
@GreenAdam3134 жыл бұрын
Steve F It’s a Talk Box. It’s like an effects pedal for your mouth. There are inputs and outputs on the box itself. One end connects to a keyboard or guitar, and the other end connects to the microphone. The plastic tube alters the natural sounds. Not to be confused with AutoTune, which does the work for you. You STILL need to sing and play in harmony
