Wonderful conversation.. The most amazing and insightful expression I have ever seen... Walsh decisively states that consciousness is more fundamental and the physical world is an expression of it. He almost convinced sceptic intellectual, Robert Lawrence Kuhn.. First time I saw Kuhn exiting a discussion with lots of smiles and realisation in 'Closer to Truth' series. At 33:00 Roger Walsh laughs and says, "I understand.. I had the same problem." 😂🤣

Re: Roger Walsh’s comment: “One of the great opportunities of our time, in addition to the great dangers, is that for the first time in human history, we have access to all the world’s wisdom in traditions from each of one of the major great religions, …the tribal traditions, all of these are now available to us, just waiting for one of the great projects of our time, …people to draw on these and bring them together and integrate them with contemporary research and understanding and insight into psychology and philosophy and neuroscience, etc.” Dear Roger, This IS the greatest project of our time. I am certain that I have the knowledge required for a unified cosmology, NOW, however. We do not need to start from ground zero! There has already been a unified cosmology written, that explains the essential laws and principles. I am confident that I have enough expertise regarding this cosmology to co-ordinate a project such as the one you have suggested. I believe I also have enough knowledge and understanding to integrate it with todays science, by translating this cosmology for today’s scientists. You see, there is a very big problem that you do not understand: - We have not been getting “closer to truth,” we have been getting further from it. Therefore, in order to unify universal law, natural science and philosophy, my suggestion would be to implement a plan. My thoughts on what this plan would look like, is one in which I would teach a small number of people and put in place a “train-the-trainer” type organisation. This organisation would create educational material, with the goal of keeping true to the unified theory. If you, or anyone else, has another suggestion for a better way that I could co-ordinate this unification, I am keen to hear them. The following is an outline of my idea: My name is Lauren Joanna Dove. I have studied the cosmology of Walter Russell. I am looking for any NSW, Aust. based physicists, interested in learning, and helping me to teach, this cosmology. The current misconceptions in mainstream cosmology are too numerous and too far from the truth, to be effectively explained on a one-by-one and in a one-way manner. I would like to work smarter, and I am looking for smart people to help me implement a new global education initiative. Thank you, ldove@ozemail.com.au

There is nothing more important than attaining a true understanding of bedrock reality. Every week you take us with you to investigate the most challenging and least known topics of inquiry by gathering data with a diverse plethora of insightful interviews of some of the most brilliant minds that humanity has to offer. Distinguished Dr.Walesh's approach is truely the bridge between Science & eastern wisdom traditions and which is supported by several distinguished Noble Laurates & renowned scientists and philosophers......it is to be noted , all present day science is already described in Hindu Vedic scriptures..... moreover to understand & get full /actual benefits of Meditation , complete knowledge of Vadic scriptures is required... at least complete knowledge of Bhagvadh Gita scripture(summary of Vedas) & to live up / put in practice all this knowledge in every moment of day to day life...... while reading Gita , one explores new knowledge everyday , in the same way as diver in ocean finds more Jewels as he dives deep in the ocean & similarly scientists come up with new equations with passage of time... ...salute to all physical scientists & non physicalists scientists , philosophers , medical doctors , religious entities who by way of awakening their individual consciousness (spiritual consciousness) to become at par with cosmic consciousness( scientists's work is also a sort of awakening of consciousness) & thus getting human beings more closer to truth & enriching them with practical knowledge and making the lives more purposeful , meaningful , liveable / comfortable , joyful etc.... thanks 🙏.

Robert Lawrence Kuhn had an openness when dealing with multiple points of view with in western philosophy. However, somehow the bias is seen when comparing western and eastern in this discussion without experiential contemplative understanding of eastern philosophy when he puts the western way of life at a higher pedestal. Yes, west has made tremendous inroads into the material and physical realm but the argument that this is an evidence of real human development needs to be debated.

@@davidw8668 ... I have been educated in the western science myself and also had contemplative experiences. It's big time the scientific view of reductionism pave way for a view encompassing the whole. The renewal of interest in quantum mechanics could well be the step towards it. Why is materialism still believed in by the community? Isn't it another religion in itself? So the point is " Be open" or you are not talking science...

It's a good argument you made, but let me remind of one fact you might overlooked, science will never ever change and works everywhere in universe. Western imperialistic hemisphere is not just another peak of human civilization but accumulation of scientific thought, everybody else are still in feudal age, rest of the world did even start to compete in the only race that will ever exist after invention of scientific model. In other words, west will always be more advanced because they went to school first.

There is a primacy to the lucid wakeful experience: the organism evolved before the mind..., presumably. The one thing i dsagree with Walsh about happens to be his fundamental belief: i believe all mysteries will fall. Contemplation has shown me that i am a global function that sees red when i let it and that there is a driving function that is my funk that happens before i do. And apparently i'll never be on the show because i'm willing to consider the possibility that .... the Truth... is an actual person.

Must say this is a very good show. To bad not many people will listen to that conversation, confusing it with average new age babble. This is why production is so important element, video is good, but framed for small conferences, they used different quality camera on each side, sound is to silent, light is awful, It's hard to keep up almost an hour even if content of talk is very, very good. Meditation and some yoga body stretching techniques should be thought in obligatory primary schools, this is not mysticism but something human body does naturally anyway. Problem is, we don't have general meditation universities, all practices are part of distinctive schools, developed to a certain degrees and ideological predispositions. But when we ask about scientific aspect of mental control, science and medicine rather go silent, nothing can be objectively observed and measured, so meditation goes under day dreaming at best to paranoid schizophrenia in worst cases. It's just not natural to guide sense of awareness of another person, except if not for deliberate manipulation and exploration of other people's weakness, but those are covered under psychology and psychiatry sciences. People come from different ideological backgrounds, religious child might resist induction techniques from teachers, perceiving them as intrusive and brain washing. Than we must ask what would it mean for general society if governments would teach altered states, making people help themselves with psychedelic drugs, to shorten path of enlightenment. Children psychology is very delicate, mass meditation can enhance or cause various syndromes that should be guided individually and that might not be possible in all social environments. What about quality of teachers, schools would have to employ guru's or start new kind of academia who will educate generations of professional teachers, not connected with any religion or government psychological programs. Teachers can't teach kids how to lie to themselves, who could control quality of spiritual growth in kids, with what tests, meditative experiences are much more powerful influence than school psychology can comprehend. And my last objection, what kind of spiritualism would that be if kids would be stimulated to escape in their inner worlds, how would they perceive general knowledge and more over, can we have civilized spiritualism without scientific education backgrounds? I don't think so, meditation can make person irrational and over emotional, only escape is study of hard logical facts and physical creativity. Not both can come at once, it would be a mistake to teach children science and meditation at same time. No meditation is even worst, this is how modern world was created and that's were we all escape after we get old, disillusioned about material reality, regarding we didn't take more time for ourselves. Meditative minds live more life. All in all, well done CTT, best show i've seen in months and i can strongly recommend this talk to everybody.

Roger referred to Vedanta as well as Dalai Llama and Tibetan Buddhism : the processes of Meditation in the two traditions are totally different : if you follow only one technique, you have a particular experience and if you practice the other you explore a different world ; if you MIX the Techniques YOU DISTORT the purity of the Genuine Revelation ! RISHIS AND YOGIS OF ANCIENT INDIA WERE NOT MAGICIANS : THEY WERE SCIENTISTS FOR SURE who dedicated their lives to explore "THE TRUTH " yet did never bother to claim any Patent on their discoveries and inventions : perhaps they were not even bothered if the future generations of mankind anywhere acknowledge their contributions or or not !

Pretty much the only book I read these days is the Tao Te Ching and Zhuangzi. The ancient Taoists have shown me the way I knew was right years ago but refused to accept. What I felt to be right but was tied up in silly religious stories that I was determined to prove true,to my mental detriment. When I gave up on religion I gave up on wisdom because my tradition told me it was only through God I could attend Sq in it and I felt I had been sold a bill of goods with this god. Ancient Eastern wisdom seems far more in line with base reality than anything I've encountered in the Western religious tradition, which ties up wisdom with accepting creation myths and threats and promises of an afterlife of suffering or ecstasy. I believe this conflagration has caused many Westerners to throw the wise baby out with the mythical bathwater. Jews/Christians did not invent wisdom and the best wisdom traditions predate Christianity, including Stoicism that much of the NT (written mostly by anonymous Greeks, and even Paul was a hellenist Jew) seems to borrow its morality from.

Dude I want to talk about my religion, I started out as a Christian. Then I abandoned monotheism and became a druid, studied ancient civilizations and believed in Egyptian Gods, Atenism and Artemis. Then I decided to forget about all those faiths and focus on Iustitia, but as to what sort of religion I believe in and what the name of it is? My religion is called Gothic Vampire, Gothic Witch and Spider Cultist, I like the Shadow Forests and be totally alone. I am the type of guy who wants to be alone his entire Life, because cities are too busy and people are too crazy. So being a Male Witch alone in the woods is really fabulous, walking alone everyday searching for herbs that sort of thing. I did Buddhism and decided that we are still the same person, so I did Buddhism a couple of times then quit. I did Zen for 4 years, then decided to quit. But with Gothic Vampire, I really like it and keep coming back. So the religion I like the most and keep coming back to, is Gothic Vampire. I associate Vampirism with Vodka and Multi Vitamins, so I don't drink blood, I smoke weed everyday and 4 times per year I drink 60 CL Vodka per day and watch vampire videos. So Gothic Vampire, Gothic Witch and Spider Cultist to me is more like a fashion statement, like Halloween. Regards, Alex.

Otherwise he can't & this's what not understand by our intelligence & prudent of this world. We human beings are here b/c of the work that's nothing but a sexuality if you carefully look into it then it's known related to the brain & that's where multiple works are happen. This sexuality is really prevent us to understand beyond certain reality of conciousness and wisdom. We inherit the seeds of conciousness & wisdom from our parents, grand parents and from ancestors, and further we need to development those conciousbess & wisdom. Since it's inherited through sex it can't allow us therefore, we need to have an ultimate conciousness that's to say we need to remove the conciousness from our brain & instead the infinite conciousness has to be replaced into our brain. These two events removal of conciousness from the brain and replacement of infinite conciousness into the brain might happen in two seconds having no gap in it. Actually, Robert said the right words but not for the right reason. It is not possible for Mind to be controlled at all. Robert’s words “I can’t control my Mind” stood out to me, also. I used to be confused about meditation, but then, much later on, I discovered that it was not helped by the fact that I didn’t have a true understanding of what Mind is. So the problem is not helped by the fact that few people know that “THEY ARE Mind.” In other words, Mind is not controlled. It is Mind that thinks. All bodies are “thought-waves”. This is why you cannot “die.” You never “lived.” You need to understand that you are not your brain. There is no energy in matter. Its all balanced by this Still Fulcrum, which is you. If you understand everything from this perspective, and once you understand the science - ie how Mind is a “Still Fulcrum” that balances and controls all motion, then all science and philosophy can be unified. If you study the principles as written by Walter Russell, then everything will begin to make sense to you. Nothing will make sense, and no science will be unified, without having this perspective. - Just to clarify, Tahchridaya; Mind cannot be divided, it only appears that it is. Fundamentally, Mind is not separable. Therefore there is no such thing as “different Minds,” or “different kinds of Mind,” or ““the” Mind.” To be scientifically correct, it should just be referred to as “Mind.” This is important, as it makes no sense when you say “it begins to see that it is not really running the show, it just thinks it is” It is the office of Mind to think. In reality, Mind does “run the show.” This is why, and how, God can be incorporated into everything. God is Mind, and we are co-creators with God.
