I saw him in boston and I can honestly say may favorite version of another brick in the wall part 1 is the 2010-2012 live version, it's so majestic sounding. I like it even better than the PF version. Roger did the best job with that tour.

Indeed, I think that the one in Quebec was greater making it the greatest live show of The Wall!

@Sat191 There was a problem with the power supply, so one of the recordings as you say is from the rehearsal, I don't know wich one but I think it is the one on the CD because you can see the audience here

@Azimuth95 I agree with you. but there is something weird... i've got the cd version of this live performance, and guitars solo are totally differents (and also several things), much more better in fact... it probably comes from the rehearsals (one day before) but that's just a supposition

Wow, I can't believe how nasty people are in this comments section. I'm glad I couldn't read all the non-English ones. I'd be afraid it's more of the same. Cyndi Lauper has more musical talent than the whole lot of you put together. Unless she burnt down your childhood home or something, there's no excuse for the vicious attacks on her here.

Her attitude is excellent and she's done plenty of classic songs with great reverence. Her version of Joni Mitchell's Carey is better than the original. This isn't better than the original, but wow, she did it justice. I remember all the cheers when she does the HEY TEACHER parts. I'm always happy to see people with good voices get a shot. At least it wasn't Janet Jackson or Madonna, and was an actual pop rock star LOL

@Vermicellli not 100% true mate Roger didnt write it all run like hell is a Gilmour song which wasnt even supposed to be on the wall and Dave composed and wrote the music and some of the rewritten lyrics for comfortably numb the only thing is Roger owns the work now but without Dave Rick and Nick its just not right at all

i'll be the one that goes against the grain and say i like cyndi's talent. it's not the best combination for her, but she's not a bitch or anything like that

adored her vocals. really impressive! the crowd love her! not all of her vocals are in this video, they hurrahed her scat adlibs she did between lines, and I love them on the MP3 I have of this.

10 years on, and you're still wrong. lol More than a quarter million of us there, and there were great cheers for her, especially during the awesome chorus lines. She did far better than most could do, but that's why she's won all types of awards over the last 40 years.

@@JusticeForTheDead Ngl as someone who's a younger generation who has a father that was there, I mean he said himself that he didn't enjoy her singing, and it's clearly obvious that the recorded track is significantly better.
