No matter how generous, sweet, kind, respectable, honest, caring and loving I am to my Filipina - she couldn’t overcome her sense of status - her self worth - she feel ashamed and unworthy to be my partner because she came from a poor family, struggle to raise three kids by herself and have many failed relationships in her past. She couldn’t realize that the stories about her life and the struggles that she had to endure is the main reason I fell in love and the reason I have supported her during her difficult times. Instead of opening up more about herself, she became more distant and silent - too shy to tell how she feels. It is the feeling of being ashamed and unworthy to be my partner - doubting about herself that makes me feel the relationship can not last forever. To be in a serious relationship - there cannot be any doubt about who you are and what you want in life. You cannot feel ashamed or unworthy to be someone’s partner. That feelings is hard to overcome and could end in divorce or separation when she is married.

I had a Filipina here in the states who had self esteem issues and she needed adderation from multiple men to make herself feel good. Just keep an eye on her as there may come a day where she needs more than you can give her . It is a form of mental illness and needs professional intervention and as we are not therapist we can't assess what needs to be done. She has been hurt and abandoned with the stress of three children so don't think for a minute that hasn't taken its toll and the possibility of her one day saying your just like my ex is a real thing and you don't want to be that guy in her eyes .

I plan on coming to the Philippines to meet my Filipina in December 2022. I live in the USA (Indiana) we have been talking for the last couple months. We have such a great connection. I plan on dating her and asking her to marry me. I just cannot believe all the love in your country! That’s where I want to be the rest of my life. I am 62 and retired in my Filipino is 53 and has her own business. I will start donating to your KZbin channel here in the near future. Maybe someday me and my Filipina can hang out with you two. Thanks for making me smile every day and every video. I would like to ask a favor. On your next video could you do a shout out to my Filipina? Nice video! Your giving excellent advice here on how to make your filipina happy. My filipina wife is almost like a stand up comedian, she can come home from her job everyday and give examples of each of her co-workers and describe exactly how they talk and she can imitate their voices and it’s extremely funny! She will imitate me as well and usually I’m literally laughing most of the time. I’m not as funny as her but I have my moments but what I realized early in our relationship that being silly and opening up to each other sure helps the communication between each other. Being sweet with compliments and respectful of her family are important of course when my filipina wife needs a crying shoulder it’s good to be a good listener.

Not a good idea. First their really aren't places like that in the Philippines, second, you are telling her she has a problem. Something MORE is wrong with her. Remember the culture. All women, especially filipinas feel self conscious about themselves. She needs compliments from you. That's what she is telling you. they don't just come out directly and tell you what the want.

well all the things you mention are basic things that any woman from any nationality would appreciate. I would add to the mix the following: be affectionate, be attentive to her intimacy needs, be totally monogamous, in that you don't have any relationships with other women that she could interpret as a threat to her. Be supportive of any career aspirations she has, whether she wants to be just a mother at home, or wants to be a doctor or lawyer.

All very good points and most are very do-able, but one also has to set boundaries. A LTR is a two way street and needs periodic maintenance for both to achieve happiness. Loving family as a human family (were all in this together) is easy enough. But, to like ALL of the members with how she gets treated and has been over the years then having to have automatic "respect" doesn't work in reality. It's true that to make the word "respect" have value, it must be earned, otherwise just saying you must respect them often times comes contradictory to honesty. I'll always choose honesty over auto-respect and for my wife, she loves that. For many, including me, false respect is no respect at all. Just our view. You guys are doing awesome! I always look forward to learning from you two!

In my opinion complimenting her on a good job cleaning isn't compliment, I would feel like I'm saying it's ONLY her JOB to clean and treating her more like my maid rather than my partner, and we both should share the house work equally since we both live there. Although I don't like any make-up, I like the natural beauty, her efforts are worth acknowledging, especially if the two of you are going out together, I would be proud to have her on my arm and want to make everyone else jealous of her. The sense of humor I have no problem with, never take life to serious, you'll never get out alive.
