My childhood teachers were Charley Wilcoxen and Bob McKee, and I was blessed to have met many of their legendary drumming friends like Krupa, Roach, and Morello. I didn't understand what he meant when he said that Buddy said, "this is the best drum since Rogers"? Wasn't Buddy talking about a Rogers drum (I assume a Dynasonic snare)?

He played Fibes snares for some time after the Rogers. Did he prefer that to the dynasonic?

How did they construct this drum to take a beating, in some detail? The head takes the beating, and they don't make that. Is it the thickness of the metal shell? I assume it was metal. Does anyone know more about this drum?

My LUDWIG SUPERSENSITIVE 77 MODEL...to me is the best sounding loudest sounding greatest snare drum , just my opinion , this club we played about 1 00 am the singer would get a little tired...I would pop a rim shot and I swear it would sound like a gun went off ...still have it too...I always thought LUDEIG made the best SNARE DRUMS PERIOD

It's true there's always a snare drum that sounds better than all others from the same make and model. My first Ludwig supraphonic 1979 always sounded better than any other supraphonic... it's strange but true.

Holy hell, that is the worst video quality I have ever seen. Good content though, lol
