Great guide! I've got about 25 kills now thanks to this guide! No HoJ yet, but I keep grinding! One tip tho, if anyone is struggling with the patrolling elemental; wait until he approaches the big door (that you close at the start), and fight him in that door-corridor. I had some problem with positioning him in the room with the rest of the mobs, and the corridor gives alot of space! Cheers and good luck!

Love the video, nice job. I have one big suggestion. Instead of slice-n-dice with 5 combo points, use expose armor instead. Minus 1700 armor increases your DPS significantly for the burn phase. And you only need about 15 seconds of slice-n-dice anyway. I went from usually dying to beating him comfortably. (ilvl 67, combat daggers - well geared, but poor spec for face-to-face)

Awesome guide. I died a bunch at first but mostly by being bad. This not only got me my HOJ after 24 tries, i feel like I just got a lot better with rogue mechanics with the constant gouges, blinding, vanishing, and all the other rogue things you have to do to run these efficiently. Eventually got to 15 minute runs. Would be faster but my gear wasn't quite good enough to always take down the first fire elemental without popping cooldowns.

If you're doing this a lot, you should macro a vanish and stealth. vanish if in combat, and stealth if no combat. #showtooltip Vanish /stopattack /cast [combat] Vanish; [nostealth] Stealth Might just save you a few powders and save you from having to travel and buy more if you run out or forget to purchase more before you come.

if you dont want to make a trip, you can pick pocket in the arena and in the bar for heavy junkboxes, they usually drop flash powders.

It's quick and easy to two man it. I've been doing it with a guild mate for a week to get his trinket and we've had zero deaths doing it.

Works. I died until full repair learning it, but on my second run i only died once, and it took 20ish mins. Im not even full BiS, and had to use consumables but that's alright, I'm sure I'll get it down better and faster until I get the stupid trinket. Thanks for the guide.

As of phase 5, Hand of Justice does not drop from angerforge anymore. The item is moved to the last boss, emperor. For those of you trying this that are under-geared, I would recommend re-speccing. Part of the fun of vanilla wow back in the day was working this stuff out without videos. Soloing the bar guy as a rogue for barmans. Gnomer for toxic revenger. Farming LBRS spawn for arcanite reaper plans as a raiding priest without respeccing. Good times.

May 2020 and this 100% works but of course you have to be very precise and prepared when Angerforge is at 41% which summons the healer trash and this is where you need to pop everything to burn him fast. Would recommand having good gear before attempting this and have health pots and max lvl bandages. Also use a health meter addon so you know when Angerforge summons the healer adds.

Worth mentioning: I did with combat dagger and was relatively difficult but manageable with pots. However, sub spec is also very good for this run since you have sap available for the trash packs without breaking stealth and double evasion on angerforge with preparation.

Should macro and pickpocket what you run pass of dorfs though. Often yields major healing pots, so your farms gets alot cheaper and more efficient than greater heal pots :) Else than that, good clear run video

You can't afford a pickpocket resist. Because you need vanish, you would have to wait it's cool down if you failed, that or only pickpocket near the window.

@@Zatar entire upper part of the arena is resetable by a jump over the edge, for a 30 sec loss of time if it happens. I would say you probably can do 3 runs without a resist happening in that room alone, making you 15 isj extra gold pr hour with average luck. But amazing vid of the fight

The fire ball is done attack, with the cone shooting farward after gouge drops, fir tye fire elements. On another note if you have 285 FR they do 1/4 their damage 99% of all hits.

FOR THE GNOMES: I know, someone found another way, but today I also confirmed it working with a Swiftness of Zanza-potion from the Zandalar Tribe. It requires revered and a reputation token to buy and is, unfortunately, unique. But it holds for two hours, so by logging out for an hour after the first five runs, one should be able to do at least ten tries during the 2-hour duration. I look forward to getting my HoJ this way!!! :D

whoa good guide, definitely gonna try this but I dont think you have to be so cautious on elementals. I regularly do pickpocket run in my PvP sub spec and i just fight them like a normal mob and KS/gouge to bandage.you can also kick the fireball and if ur combat silence them entirely

Watch out for the Elementals they're different than the ones you're thinking of. These Elementals are 55 and 56 and the fireball volley they cast is instant. Just a heads up I don't think you'll be able to do this in PVP spec, and you need really good gear to pull this off

@@Zatar i kill the one infront of anger all the itme, that is probably the hardest but I can do it with my pvp spec tho i usually use evasion, ghostly strike a couple of times (picked it up for this very purpose) and gouge then bandage, and usually a level 35 pot. for the actual anger fight itself no way i could do that in the pvp spec unless i managed to vanish and hit him with ambush x2 before combat drops. that's another trick i use to deal with the elementals if i'm low but they are too. pool energy to 60, vanish, ambush and pray you finish them off.

Did you experience a big dependance on rng when clearing the last pack of mobs? I just started the farm and sometimes the elemental and dwarf just destroy me right through evasion and I'm forced to vanish before I can even kill one of them. I'm dagger spec, and I'm using the same cooldowns you use for that pack.

I was drinking a superior healing potion most times. You can also use thistle tea there if you need. If you Respec to get more Dodge and Parry you should feel a lot safer on those packs. You can check the pinned comment for the spec I used on my less geared Rogue.

I am lvling a rogue at the moment, and i will definitely experiment arround what can be done solo and what not. At Angerforge i see the most of the time he is running. Wouldnt it be faster to use Deadly Posion additional to rupture ? so he keeps on taking damage while running. But maybe i am wrong and Instant Poison will be missing in the burstdmg afterwards once he rages.. Anyway thank you for that detailed Guide ! love it Keep up the good work.

Deadly poison can be tricky and can cause angerforge to summon ads before you were ready. Depending on your gear you may be able to get a second rupture off, but for me, if I rupture a second time, angerforge was too low to build up 5 more combo points. I would have to start attacking him without a full slice and dice.

Back in early Classic, I had to kill Anger 37 times before the asshole dropped my HoJ. Sadly, Blizzard moved the HoJ drop to Emperor Thaurassian, so this trick won’t woRk anymore. (Supposedly, they increased the HoJ drop rate a bit, though.)

how I do as combat spe. use all ur cd's to fast kill fire lords + use 1x fire potion each fire lord. ( costs 4 gold / run, but u farm the general for 3 gold average each run ). u also could use tea instead of fire potions.

I have a general question to all rogues: i play combat rogue with swords. I got the brutality blade and now i got the dagger from rag. What should i do now? What is the best option to go with to do best dps? Playing with same specc but with dagger in hand or keep 2 swords and wait for 2nd dagger? Or even respecc to dagger now? Pls help

I have no idea how you manage to kill both Marshall and Destroyer... I used up all my cooldown and Destroyer has more than 50% HP when Im done with Marshall. Resetting with Vanish and fighting just Destroyer without cooldowns means I die again... Dunno what Im doing wrong lol

I have been trying to do this for a while now and it's just not consistent at all. He basically cherry picked a clip where everything goes right first try and uploaded it like it's a legit farming strategy. Not worth your time trying this, just bring two rogues and burst a boss down, 5 runs in 30 minutes easy. Way faster than trying to solo it and dying 10 times on trash.

I tried and couldn't make it work. Solo kiting destroyer is doable, same 2 dwarves pack. But that destroyer with 2 mobs is wrecking me hard. After popping evasion, BF and AR it's a dice roll if you die or not (to the destroyer), and even if you kill the dwarf, you absolutely have to vanish, then probably wait for evasion CD. In this vid you can see him take absolutely no damage from the Destroyer until dwarf mob is almost dead... which was never my experience. I didn't have bis daggers, but my gear was 6 piece Shadowcraft, Nightslayer Chestpiece, Aged Core Leather Gloves, MH Shadowfoot Stabber. If the last mob pack before boss is a lottery, it's not worth it.

@@pamposzek Pretty much the same experience, running a lot of pre bis and 3 piece nightstalker with combat spec and yeah I'm sure when he did this video the fire guard destroyers were a lot weaker compared to now, hence why you don't see newer solo videos. Even if you pop all your abilities it's such a waste of time where you could be duoing or 3 man.

Full pre-raid best in slot (besides hoj). If you are undergeared, you will probably need major potions as well as other consumables to get him down.

Warning: Gnomes CANNOT make the essential jump, so soloing this a a gnome rogue is impossible. Sorry! :( I got the trinket by having a druid tank it while I dps. The druid can bear form until low, then jump down the stairs, heal up, tank boss back up the stairs, and repeat. Btw: Noggenfogger and Firewater does not work. Have not tried Deviate yet, but I'm guessing that won't work either, since transforms don't seem to change your hitbox, or whatever it is that decides "where" your character is.

he dosent have great gear he uses the 3rd best mc dagger and has t2 head ill guess evryone can get that gear to try it out. if not just go sword get trash blade and mirahs song both from dungeon quests and skill riposte as well im sure that makes it way easier for a beginner with that farm. if that is still not enough buff yourself a bit there are plenty of buffs in wow to make up for the better gear he might have than you. the thing is with gear it doesnt rly matter here u have to execute the plan no matter how hard you hit in the end bedise the last burst u need but as i said nothing a buff cant fix there. and yes u are right this is not easy but every solo boss farm need some training ;)

@@autdelux you won't have enough dps to deal with the destroyers or burst down angerforge in time using thrash blade... IDK what it is with people but they greatly overestimate that weapon; it only actually does 36.7dps when you count the procs

It's not that hard. If your gear is on the low end, you could go after raids to make use of the buffs, bring consumables, or wait till you get a raid weapon. As for his gear, you can see most of it, and the rest is pretty obvious. Pre-bis & bis lists are everywhere.

No I don't think you will be able to. You need to do 10k damage in a very short amount of time or else the adds will come. I don't think it's doable without adrenaline rush and a lot of the combat DPS Talents even if u have prep.

I was using 5cp slice and dice at the start solo I could eviscerate the rest of the fight. It is possible expose armor would help, but it is usually not that useful against high armor targets.
