When i hear stuff like this im so glad i have the tools and space to do all the repairs on my golf myself. Want a job doing properly do it yourself. Most garages dont give a shit.

It's fair to say the mechanic you used should not be used again. Dont think I'd be paying the outstanding if the mechanic caused damage to my car!

The job wasn't fullt complete, it was 2/3 way done. In Ireland that's 2/3 pay. Don't go back. Don't pay a penny.

He ran me this morning asking for information regarding ignition and what I used as he had a customer in with the same issue 😐 should I get a discount for providing him the information 🤔

I have had a problem with my battery suddenly going flat because the radio is still connected. As soon as I get some silicon oil I will try that and hope it works. 👍

Don't spray loads in at one time, little squirt, key in and out then a little more and repeat. Hope it sorts yout issue 🤞

Pay him the money Dave if anything goes wrong with the job he’s done on the gearbox he’s not guna look at it. Have you checked the oil since he put oil in bet its got to much oil in now?

I am going tonpay him the rest....just not gonna go rushing down to him. Oil is about 1 litre over filled
