@@CDRhammond but yall are still wrong, it doesnt literally bring you to the start of A New Hope, Leia and her CR-90 Corvette jump into hyperspace while vader is still on the Nebulon-B. Leia pretty sure arrives at a rendezvous point at either empty space or a planet I forgot the name of, then jumps into hypersapce again towards Tatooine for another rendezvous point but Vader already learned where Leia was going by that time Vader was already in his ISD named "Devastator" going in/or already was in hyperspace. I dont know how Vader knew maybe a tracker but im pretty sure that is what happens. Leia arrives at Tatooine aka the rendezvous point prepares to jump once again into hyperspace; but theres a problem. Vader just arrived right behind them and is starting to open fire opun them to prevent them from jumping, this proceeds right into A New Hope.

Ladies Both Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) were created thru software to superimpose their faces (Carrie's young face and Peter's similar to New Hope) on their body doubles. Their voices were overdubbed in postproduction. Peter Cushing died in 1994 at 81. Carrie died in the year of this movie released, 2016.

Amazing to think that the character of Grand Moff Tarkin in this movie is actually a CGI recreation of the actor Peter Cushing (who played Tarkin in the original Star Wars A New Hope in 1977), had actually died 22 years before Rogue One was produced.

Espionage demands such things for the sake of the mission. Its the nature of the whole ordeal. Besides, I don't think he had cold blood when he did it. It was the right move to make but he wasn't cold, even though he was calm. He is a killer. Just not that sort of killer like the droids, the clones, or the stormtroopers... It's a different sort. The Clone were the perfect soldiers that followed orders so hard they killed the Jedi without question... before the chips in the brains Disney included. The droids are droids often times and will do as told. Stormtroopers, those of these days, are the elite of the Imperial Army and will follow orders to a T. Anything. Andor is a spy. A very good spy and commando it seems. Still, he's not like the previous examples because he's a person. So what other characterization do I see? He's tired, but will continue for the sake of the cause, the mission. Still, even a duh can recognize that killing the Scientist will not prevent the weapon's deployment or aid in its destruction in a direct way. Better, I say, to capture him if possible. That was just a terrible call. And he didn't follow them orders to kill her dad. That devotion to duty has limits when you think opposed to act. Even Jyn brings up the comparison when she confronts him. I had thought he was a child soldier but given the Andor series, I'm now thinking Jyn is the only one that qualifies as a child soldier between them.

@@georgesmith6218 I forget where I saw it, maybe even a video here on youtube, but it goes into midichlorian count. The everyday being in that universe has an average count of around 3000, which would make you correct to a degree. Han was theorized to have around 5000, slightly above average but by no means anything that could be used practically. 7-8k would be enough to grant you training from the temples. Obi-wan had around 13k, the emperor around 15k, windu 17k, Yoda 20k, and Anakin/Vader 25k.

Hi Girls from The Homies Channel Star Wars sees the Tales of The Jedi series which is only supposed to be 6 episodes where there are other Jedi stories like Anakin and his ("y. sis." ), Count Dooku and Qui-gon Jinn relationship ship and much more to see. It's mainly about familiarizing people with characters that people who only watched plays and movies and series didn't really understand and didn't know. So 6 episodes = 2/1 episode per video please just try it when he sees it. The trailer was released, but if you want to be surprised, you don't have to watch it. ;)

At the end, when the ship Leia is in jumps to the speed of light, the movie ends. But those of us who saw the film in the cinema saw how after that jump to the speed of light Darth Vader's star destroyer tracks them and we saw the beginning of A New Hope. After canceling the hyperspace trip, they end up on Tatooine, which is where the movie begins.

This movie was Star Wars - Episode 3.5- takes place in 0 BBY, mere days right before A New Hope begins. However, it also features a flashback to the year 13 BBY. The characters in Rogue One - including Cassian Andor and the newly-introduced Jyn Erso - form the Rebel group that steals the plans for the Death Star from the Galactic Empire. The new show Andor takes place 5 years before the events of Rogue One. A second twelve-episode season is in development, which will conclude the series and lead into the events of Rogue One.
