This game definitely provides a lot of emergent narrative that brings me back again and again. I just don't know when just yet!

GREAT Battlereport. I also love that you seem to use the same Gears of War miniatures i use xD

Thanks! I mean, that's what's great about miniatures agnostic games, right? :D You can use whatever you have or feel like!

This was a very enjoyable batrep. You do have a great voice for narration! I have Rogue Stars but haven't tried it yet. I'll have to give it a deeper read.
@greattimeswithgames98463 жыл бұрын
Happy to hear it entertained you! I guess you never stop learning new things about yourself... I would have never considered my voice a good one! Rogue Stars has some depth to it which may give it a steeper learning curve but when you break it down to its essential is just trying to beat a target number and taking the modifiers into consideration. Thanks for watching!

@@greattimeswithgames9846 Seriously with a little training you could do it professionally (whereas I have the training but no longer the physical ability to best use it).
@greattimeswithgames98463 жыл бұрын
@@HeadHunterSix I guess I should keep a look out for that kind of training!

Dear @Great Times with Games ... Your battle reports are amazing. You are the reason that I bought Chrome Hammer series. It seems that your channel is kind of abandoned though! Are we going to see any more bat-reps from you. This one (Rogue Stars) and the Chrome Hammer one are by far my favorites! Thank you for these. Just wanted to let you know that I would *LOVE* to see more of them! Hope you doing well! Take care and roll your dice! 😁☺
@greattimeswithgames9846 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words! It's not that I abandoned it, it's more like a major real life situation surfaced right as I was trying to get this off the ground. Still recovering from that and hope to come back to this one day. I actually do have other stuff recorded... so, hopefully one day!

@@greattimeswithgames9846 sorry to hear that. Hope things are going well now for you and your loved ones! I will patiently wait for these new videos of yours because you are indeed talented and it seems like you do love what you gave us on these vids! Hope things get better fast. Take care, have fun and always roll for a Crit! ;)

I got the idea from another video too. I got mine from Litko but I'm sure you can craft or 3D print them just as well.

Jason is right, you've got a great voice for narration!

Hah! Thanks. I'm glad you like it because my voice just sounds weird to me but it's what I've got!
@richmcgee4343 жыл бұрын
@@greattimeswithgames9846 That's normal. Almost everyone is accustomed to hearing their voice from the inside, not played back on external speakers. Recordings lack the familiar sound elements from bone conduction to their eardrums, which add a lot to your perceived depth and richness of tone that will be missing from the sound when it's just being carried by the air.
@greattimeswithgames98463 жыл бұрын
@@richmcgee434 I don't think I've ever heard it described quite like that. Cheers!

Cool batrep. Thanks! Curious - I play Infinity so recognize those minis (even the old school OOP Morlock 👍), but what are the other team's minis?
@greattimeswithgames98462 жыл бұрын
The other team are miniatures from the Fantasy Flight Games Gears of War board game. It's been long out of print though. Thanks for watching!

Nice play-by-play narration style. Good use of Battle Systems terrain mixed with others. Did you buy those road segments or make them?
@greattimeswithgames98463 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I appreciate it! Those road segments are from a neoprene mats set by stratagem I got on amazon.
