Given that Father only views the world as an experiment and freed his surviving parent just to "see what happens," I wouldn't put it past him. So him sending a rogue synth out to see what happens would be something he might do.

The order are the best Special Forces soldiers in the commonwealth and in this mod they can be sided with and Col. “Miller” can be given the Network scanner Holotape where he learns the truth and swears himself to vengeance against the institute and becomes a companion where he after the story has is own personal quest! This mod will be for people who want to side against the institute but still have access to Shaun!

If the Human Synths were such a 'Valuable Resource', that only showed issues in behaviors when taken to the surface out of TI, why would you ever do that. Beyond that, why would you not design Synths with a micro charge to remotely destroy them anywhere in the commonwealth via radio instantly. They are all already tagged with FoF ID's via the Teleport Chips. It is asinine to me that with such complex advanced systems the logical tactical ends are left just loose and dangling and tangled up all over the place from this point forward.

I hate how the Fallout 4 Dialogue system handles this. Father claims gun manufacturers are not responsible for the misuse of their tools, then vehemently blames the Railroad for the situation and absolving the Institute of any responsibility. It seems like Father is using this example to show the Railroad is evil, but the elephant in the room being how the hell did the Institute let the Railroad get them hands onto "Gabriel" without the Institute being responsible for this mess in the first place. The Institute isn't selling synths, so all snyths must be the responsibility of the Institute. And the Sole Survivor can't even point out this blazing obvious point, why the hell is the Institute leaking rogue synths like a sieve and no one has an answer for it other then "synths are machines". It's so dismissive, it reaches the point of complete stupidity. If China suddenly got their hands on Liberty Prime, then of course people are going to point the finger at the Brotherhood of Steel and ask questions and not just pretend it could only be China's fault that Liberty Prime is crushing America.
