Can you spot any head movement? This is probably the most impressive element of this video, as it illustrates the strength of posture and balanced force in all of these athletes. The Korean technical doctrine is founded in structure, balanced force and timing. These are universal principles for high performance archery, and I teach how these can be implemented into any shooting style here: archerymasterclass.com/p/technique-fundamentals-for-recurve-archery

I see that the windows that they shoot through are inset into doors that can be opened fully. A trick missed by the new £3.6 million UK archery facility, who only have doors either end of the facility. This means that central archers have an additional 40m to walk to retrieve arrows every end.

Yes this is a good design, and pretty typical Korean training facility designed for comfortable all year 70m training.

Buddy this is such an exaggeration and I hope you understand how first world of a complaint this sounds like

@@psyckorok1092 Irealised that I had got some information wrong and apologise, after checking the AGB website they actually state the cost was £3.6 million and not £3.0 million as I had stated. Obviously some people have deeper back pockets and another set of doors could not be found out of such a meagre budget. Funny how a state of the art facility that was aimed with para archers at the forefront couldn't afford a few extra doors and a path? And for the argument that it doesn't matter, the Koreans I believe shoot on the whole, faster to get their 200/300 plus arrows every session, being able to walk directly to a target speeds this process up, whereas walking a possible extra 1.5/2km a session does not! Was it 5 golds in archery for Korea this Olympics?

Mate. If you’re going to make that argument about the medals we have gold medals there. If you’re going to make out that Koreans would not be able to win golds because of the door positioning than that’s ridiculous. You are never more than a 10 second walk from a door in the PAC and the paras have easily accessible pathways on smooth tarmac and not gravel as it was before. Your calculation of 1.5/2km is absurd

There’s hardly any shoulder rotation from setup to anchor to get the alignment of rear shoulder to bowhand. Are they setting the shoulder very early on? Or is it just very subtle that my untrained eye can’t see A video on this would be handy 😊
