This album is definitely one of their strongest pieces of work. I personally felt like I went through a journey with the band as they wrote the past two years in a sick collection of 13 songs. They literally scored the end of the world. It’s like if Reincarnate and Graveyard Shift had a baby!

Such great CellDweller Vibes with Rob Zombie and Manson vocal tones all blended together with MIW sound. Very nice. ❤️🎶

Came back here to say I appreciate your ear for catching stylistic similarities to other artists in all of your reactions. Specifically, in Sign of Life, the mix of limp bizcuit and breaking benjamin and then the Ronnie/FIR in werewolf. I thought the same thing immediately on the first listens. Thoughts validated lol 😅

To be honest, I think the band specifically for me took time to actually become a favorite of mine. I don't know if anyone else can relate but I just didn't have the "ear" for their music. I heard the song Reincarnate in probably 2015 and I was like okay this is good and it wasn't until Disguise came out that I really did a deep dive into their music. This album was amazing, its the first MIW album I listened to song by song as a whole lol made me really appreciate the band! Glad that you reacted to them! Have a good day/evening!!!! (P.S. I too love the songs that have the Breaking Benjamin vibes)

Such a dope album. Done a relisten every week or so since release, it’s definitely growing on me. Porcelain and Masterpiece are the only songs that are staying off my playlist Also, question: will you upload a Northlane Obsidian album reaction?

@@gudraider9596 It's understandable tho. Porcelain and Masterpiece are really fucking good (and masterpiece is a real tearjerker) but they're the softest songs on the album. I personally added everything to my playlist

I don't see how _"Werewolf"_ is 'very' or 'heaps' Falling in Reverse...? I love FIR and I get that _"Popular Monster"_ was a Werewolf themed music video... But... I've never heard Ronnie/FIR do something so inventive, retro, and weird. The craziest they've done or gone is adding more rap than usual... And doing some really amazing, piano+ ballad versions of their older, less impressive, pop-punk/Emo/Diet Escape The Fate tracks... IDK... I'm hearing 80's Synth-wave(especially in the track in question) but with the rest of this album/band, that- mixed with some KoRn, Orgy, Adema- but if they had Metalcore roots. Also, Michael Jackson? Uhh... Yeah. It wasn't pointed out, but there's the word for word line _"Somebody's watching me!"_ It's even sang in the exact way... Lol.

Only song I just can't like even when I try is "Red White Boom" which is a let down because I like Caleb. Just tired of anti American songs from people who get success in America. Huge MIW fan though.

Just because someone is one of the handful of people that managed to find success does not mean they shouldn't be allowed to point out that the country is completely fucked up. Also, the literal entire album is about how the US is fucked up (especially the government), why does just that track rub you the wrong way?
@gudraider9596
@gudraider9596 2 жыл бұрын
@@Kyle_116 Agree with you on that first part. However everyone does it. It isn't like it's just a hand full of people fighting the system, like they are trying to be Rage Against The Machine or something. It's simply everyone finding success and shitting down the ladder as they climb up. As for your second statement, it definitely is not their entire album, it's like 3 songs or so. I take the biggest issue with this one, because there really isn't any other way of interpreting it. Obviously music is subjective and different people can find different meanings in songs. However it's just so on the nose. For Meltdown, yeah the lyrics kind of suck, but it is pretty hard to hate because everything else about it goes so hard. So I'm on the fence with that. And I was told multiple times Slaughterhouse is about the music industry, not America. So I don't really care about that one as much. Plus I just don't like the guys' voice he has featured on there.

You're tired of it yet everything said in the song is 100% true so what does that say about you? We all know america is full of corruption and it's always satisfying to see artists call it out because other countries don't/can't do it with their own countries out of fear and repercussions. Americans who shit on america for it's failures is great. Doesn't matter if you have success in america, that's not important at all. Getting your message across and letting it spread is what's important. I guess one day you'll realize that anti-american americans are actually the smartest of the bunch because they see straight through all the lies, secrets, and corruption and have the balls to call it out.
