It's time for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to retire from international cricket. No matter how great a player they are, they should not bring shame to the country. They should sacrifice themselves.

The rule book should be the same for all players . I am not doubting his ability. He has proved it over the years . But he is better player with the white ball. And should focus where his strength is . And not playing domestic or county cricket also effects . It's the same logic in all professions . To be the best you have to beat the best . So if the likes of pujara and rahane are dropped due to poor performance and rightly so . The players who performed bismallly on this tour should be dropped too .

Rohith should retire with immediate effect. He is not only overweight and unfit, and he is no frame of mind to be the captain of a Test Cricket team at national level. He had a good White ball career, but his performance as Test batsman is very mediocre. Rohith was appointed as captain as Virat has resigned as a Test captain, and his "chalta hain attitude" was a change from "in your face" atttitude of Virat kohli. T20 World cup was white ball cricket and that is completely different from Test cricket, and few people understand that. Hence, he was appointed as Test captain. He does not deserve a place in the team, and automatically he does not deserve to be the captain. It is commonsense that best player is appointed as captain, and should command his place in the team. or else it is going to be a 10 member team. There is no role like Non-playing captain (like in Tennis) in Cricket. Rohith should announce his retirement gracefully on 5th day of Melbourne test and let Bumrah be the captain for the Sydney test to maximize india's chances of keeping BG trophy.
