This is one of my favorite inks. It's the touch of teal that distinguishes Verdigris from other blue blacks.

I love rohrer and klingner! I have their salix and scabiosa and they've been great

This color of ink is among my most used. Inks that are similar are Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku and Diamine Eau de Nil. Wearinguel Wayfarer is more turquoise leaning, but is predominantly teal. The teal inks show up so well in the writing.

Splendid review. I appreciate the utility of the bottle for filling. Thanks, too, for the warning about inks unsuitable for fountain pens. Worth remembering when introducing fountain pens to friends. Thanks, too, for commendation of Cult Pens. Interesting how VAT in Europe has made nice things in America more affordable . . . for now.

“…for now” The fountain pen landscape sure may change soon where costs concern that may make the current inflation seem light. Ouch!

Nice ink review James. Sadly, I don't have any R&K ink, but I do have De Atramentis inks. Maybe some time in the future. For now, the most recent arrival for me was a bottle of Diamine Aqua Lagoon, and a bottle of Sheaffer Skrip Green.

Oxford Blue by Diamine is another great Blue/Black with a nice green/teal undertone.

Beautiful review, as expected from JG3! Beautiful ink too, but I am confused about the name. Isn't verdigris supposed to be green? (Vert is French for green)

James, during the dry test you should write "X" or "#" it will be repetitive
