I also think this channel is just so valuable in not just entertainment value, but also in family memories, the bad and the good. Rob, I make lures and I would love to make I lure for you to troll down in Australia. I'm in Florida and spending lots of time at home and I would love if you would accept a big trolling lure, that will look very much like the natural baits you're using. I'm not asking anything in return. I've been a sub for a while and love your vids. All I would like is that you tell me how you like the lure. I have a small channel: Engineered Angler. It would just be a thrill knowing one of my lures is in use in Australia. you can message me on facebook (engineered angler page) . Cheers mate.

Hi Rob, I’m a diving instructor over 20 years and an engineer, I have been dealing with underwater lamps and cameras for the bigger part of my life. The WaterWolf housing is from injection molded plastic, which means there is no variation in the manufacturing process. From my experience in over 8000 hours underwater, the biggest cause for drowned camera housings and lamps is opening and closing the housing without cleaning the O-ring and lubricating them with silicone grease. I know sometimes it has to be quick open/close to get going, but that’s in 90% of the cases the issue for drowned electronics. I love what you are doing Rob, I am as crazy for fishing as you are! Would love to have the chance one day to meet you and go for a fish together. Stay safe and all the best to you and your family.
@mini696
@mini696 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry mate, to say there is no variation is false.
@manr.9106
@manr.9106 4 жыл бұрын
8meterwish How much variation do you think there is? 0.1mm if the moulding machine is setup correctly. That’s not enough for the O-ring to be ok at first and after opening and closing to fail. Sorry but when i said i am an engineer, i forgot to say Polymertechnology speciality Injection Molding.

I found on some Australian states' websites that you generally can keep 4 to 20 per species, depending on the state and which species it is. So it'd plentiful for the family if he lucked out. Edit: I think not 20 per species but in total, with some fish having an upper limit of 4.

Super edit mate 🤘🏻It looks so inviting to just slide into the water out there when you start seeing arches

Randomly stumbled across one of your videos and I've been watching them straight for like 5 hours now. I don't even know a thing about fish yet I'm hooked. I'm starting to have a fascination about them now though. Hope you and your family are safe during this lock down. Cheers!

I just discovered this channel a week or so ago and I'm loving it! Makes me want to take a trip down there and try kayak fishing or island living for myself! It's been great being able to watch something like this and seeing how positive you always are during quarantine. As far as the WaterWolf's: I'm not sure how easy they are to take apart, but I would maybe try a conformal coating on the board and then silicone to seal up any other air gaps. I wouldn't imagine heat buildup would be much of an issue considering these are usually be surrounded by water while in use. I wish you and your family the best-both health wise and financially, stay safe, and keep up the great content!

Nice Marlin! Would have been a game Changer for sure! But oh well if they don’t feel like biting then nothing we can do. At least you went home with a nice Mack. No fishing for us, lockdown, but sure is nice you had fun!

Keep up the good work man. This worldwide lock down is a bummer but think of all the people surfing youtube looking for stuff to watch. I believe your channel will blow up. I'm a long time sub and really appreciate how positive you are all the time.
