Not gonna lie, this was the saddest moment I've experienced when gaming back in the day. My heart dropped slowly and steadily when Zero sacrificed himself and when Ciel cried. Damn, damn, damn. チョコガム 正確にはx5で完結する筈が、続編が出来た為、辻褄を合わせたそうです。x8でも、「シグマが現れる事はもうあるまい。いい潮時かもしれんな。」というセリフがありますし、そこからゼロシリーズに続くという解釈も可能です。そこの判断はプレイヤー次第という事でしょうな。

Weil is a human that has his mind turned into program data and owned a robotic body with the ability to self repair on an epic level. Ragnarock's core is, probably like it showed in the game a collection of pieces energy and parts, thus with Weil's robotic body and power, it would be possible from him to merge the core into himself. Like how other robots and stuff can merge things into them, ect. Recording is a Japanese Rockman Zero track.

Actually, Sigma was the very first villain who managed to kill Zero in X5 when he blasted a beam that pierced through X’s and Zero’s body. But thankfully Dr. Light was the one who repaired X’s body and X brought Zero back alive in X6.

Oh my god finally! I FINALLY am able to get a real translation of that stuff! Everyone else is always just saying "yeah, the game translation is right". THANK YOU! You see I'm working on a Mega Man Zero 4 animation for the final fight and really needed to know just what exactly was being said so I could get the emotions and everything right. The game didn't have these voices. The video just picks footage from the game along with the drama track in the Remastered Tracks RM Zero Physis and mixes them but there are some extra lines not-in-game.

I actually feel sorrow for Weil... he may have not always been so evil. based on what he said "cursed to live in a world without light or nature" "you can't see any of this pain" i think he was probably a genius naturalist who watched nature die. he lost his mind with greif and took it out on the humans who destroyed it. also that may have been why he hates robots. he was forever trapped in a metal body which drove him into delusional madness. and he wanted to destroy the planet that had been so horrible to him... look at his final form it looks a lot like a metal plant or its root system! need i say more!? wiel was just as much a victim as ciel or zero... his was a mercy killing!!!

Sorry, I saw what happened to the biolizard in Sa2 and I surmised the same must have happened to Weil. I had no idea it was him who destroyed nature and committed mass genocide... I must have gotten the backstory mixed up. Thanks for showing the truth to me. I hope he burns in hell!!! (Though I do find it strange that he turns into a robotic plant). I know this is ages later, but for fun I was comparing the translation as practice and it's more or less accurate. The Japanese version has room for a bit more intense description of how painful Weil's life was, and the English version's phrasing gets a little weird sometimes, but in general it's pretty competently at getting the intended meaning across in the same space. The Record doesn't quite match up with the game sometimes, as the editing here shows a bit.
