I own an original 1967 Rokon with the larger wheels and tires which makes it much easier to navigate the deep snow that we get in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

I hear some people saying "its not impressive since he's going so slow that he's stepping along with it" first off, the bike is still moving along by itself. second, the bike is going to be carrying more than you could through stuff like this 20 inch snow as the video says.

I mention that Rokon could consider that option, on the net many times. I've asked Rokon to consider it, but no reply. I guess they're not interested. At the end of the day, a petrol Rokon can travel further with fuel in its tank and wheels then a battery powered bike 🇦🇺

The tires are Grim Reepers haha I had never heard of them until I got this machine. But the seem to do surprisingly well!

Tension was good, I'm pretty sure it pulled a chunk of ice got pulled In and popped it off lol

@@ThrottleWorks Hi. you almost do it right, you need to turn the steering wheel to the right and left more often so that the front wheel cuts the snow, so that the motorcycle does not sit on its belly.tires are better herringbone, go straight like a tank, but on the slopes it will be side demolish.

I am 78 ( no lie ) I am sick of living paying rent and I live in North west Arizona. Just sent a E-mail to Rokon to purchase one on these. Want to go full time off road BLM north in the summer south in the winter. Am I going insane with old age or just want a last adventure? Not this in snow but live in the desert within distance for food and BEER. Used to living in the desert but had a vehicle for shelter when the S**T hit the fan. Old in body and young in mind, but in pretty good shape. Are these reliable enough to do that. Asking a question like this on a video channel in its self is dumb. But so tired of a mundane life is really getting old, like me. Have ridden bikes all my life and this looks like a way to do something I have done before just not on 2 wheels. It will take getting old to understand where I am coming from.

Check out the Yamaha TW200, smaller tires but similar and more of a streetable motorcycle.
