Thank you for making this video. Just got the Gramaphone today. I'm looking for a step by step build of this project, but this video was very helpful. The warnings were very great (bet you wanted those warnings when you did the build).

I’m just about 1/3 done my gramma phone and it’s the very first wood 3D puzzle I’ve ever tried to build…definitely taking me longer that it took this young lad lol sure didn’t make my first try an easy one lol but it’s actually coming together pretty good so far! Wish me luck & sanity 😻✌️

My husband just finished it and had problems getting the 45 record to play properly. We watched your video and realized he needed to change the speed wheel for it. And he noticed the different way you had your play arm spaced, so that helps.

And it’s called a record just so you know. It’s not meant to play 12 inch even says on the box it only has meant to play 10 inch 33 records and it’s meant to play 45s with the big hole in it you idiot.

Heeya just finished mine, and was seeing how others did. That sliding hole at the bottom was made to slide your reserve parts out :) Much easier to just use your finger then with a piece of wood

Hello, Savage Buildz, I have a ROKR RC wooden T-Rex robot that can walk, turn around and roar! It has like 104 wooden pieces that fit together to make the robotic dinosaur, the T-Rex that I’m talking about. Mine is the model “D200”. It has two motors, one for moving around and one for roaring, it has a speaker so it can output realistic Tyrannosaurus Rex sounds and it has a battery box with three double-A batteries and has a sensor that has a light and sound sensor to react to light and sounds and a receiver for remote control signals. Strangely, the robot is low pitched, normal pitched. It is from RoboTime and the sub-brand is ROKR, so basically it is from RoboTime but with a sub-brand called “ROKR”. The robot also comes with a remote control which is powered by 2 triple-A batteries. It is low pitched, it was like that when I first got it at “Matiloos/ماتیلوس” which might be an Iranian toy store in Tehran, I just wanted to say that. …

so i been looking everywhere online for answers on the electric rotation mode and there was nothing surprisigly and it doesnt explain it in the instruction booklet so if anyone is reading this comment and also curious about it i figured it out; turn the switch to the RIGHT position and plug a charger cord in the BOTTOM charger hole connected to the cirguit board and it will play on its own instead of cranking it by hand.....im not sure what the top charging hole is for. most ppl prolly already knew this but like i said I was confused so theres prolly a chance other ppl were too, also if anyone can tell me what the top charging hole is for id love to know :)

These came in two kits. One was the manual crank kit. The other was an electric motorized kit. It shows this on the ROKR website. The motorized one works on USB power like you would a phone. The other just with a crank. But they do sell upgrade kits to make it motorized. Right now I am trying to figure out why the gears are not running flush on the motor gears, and why there is so much play on the handle. Wife and I need to troubleshoot this. Which means disassembly.

Vinyl records are categorized by both size and speed depending on what is on it. 33/45/78 are the speeds. Some speed and size combinations are more common than others, but they are essentially independent of each other. Playing a vinyl at the wrong speed can actually destroy the grooves in the record.

I have made it but the disc wont turn. When i attach the very middle pieces, it refuses to turn. Everhthing turns well before that and then when i slot in the middle piece at the end and link the rubber band, the piece connecting to the band now refuses to move which means the vinyl wont move when i have that on. Any help much appreciated?

I apologize but it has been a very long time since I have built this. The only thing I can think of is taking it apart and then putting it back together while paying more attention to the directions. If that doesn't work, maybe contact ROKR and ask them for help?

Everything that you thought was a problem was just you not doing enough research for instance, the fact that you don’t know it’s called a vinyl not a VIN AL in the round thing that you stick on top of the record is just meant for 45 records it’s not a cap. But the thing that drew me more crazy is that you thought the arm at too much swivel room it’s supposed to be like that, so you can adjust the counter balance on the tonearm, or what you would call the arm thingy probably. If you just that counterbalance the right way, it doesn’t matter how much swivel room it has the reason why that thing moves around you could put six records on there because that thing moves around it’s supposed to do that you need to do more research before you make a video. This is what bothers me about KZbin kids they all think they’re little rock stars and make their little videos like they know something without doing research do you research and then make a video
