just put this one together myself and it is truly beautiful. after watching some reviews i was really intimidated 😅 it turned out to be a breeze ! took me 7 hours but was really relaxing. the only unbearable part was at the end when you have to put 16 tiny dowel pieces all around the top edge. your review was what made me take the plunge and get myself this set and i am not disappointed.

I’m starting this one myself. Love all the different parts to work with. I’m working on the Ferris wheel now an just finished the candy factory. I love these. Next will be a clock

I saw this on sale, never built one, got it together with 2 minor breaks that I glued together so all good. I'm hooked, absolutly love it! Not bad if you follow instructions carefully and very satisfying.

Nice, not sure why but mine spins at half that speed and for some reason the bottom lights now don't work. Bit peeved as you can't take it apart

@@stevenhayhurst6174 did you thoroughly wax your gears ? Are you using fresh batteries?
@stevenhayhurst61745 ай бұрын
AFAIK all went well, plenty of wax used, as far as the batteries, they are new but not expensive ones. I'll check them

I do love the swing ride, I am looking to get it at a later date. The only thing I do find strange is how fast it swings. Is there a way to restrict it or is the speed one of those things you have to put up with. I thought in your video you spoke on slowing it down but your video didn't show anything.
@stevenhayhurst61745 ай бұрын
For some reason, mine runs at half that speed 😮

Hi! The pegs keep breaking when I put them in. I have a plastic small hammer that I got with another wooden kid. How am I supposed to get the pegs in?
@buildingwiththeboys Жыл бұрын
Gently , they are pressure fit so you ease them in , wiggle them if you need to but I would not advise using a hammer at all

Please Help! My Swing does not swing that fast. Swings also move toward center and out. I tested at each stage and waxed all gears well. It wasn't until I saw your Instructions video for The Tea Cups video, where you showed the Swing moving that fast.
@buildingwiththeboys Жыл бұрын
It sounds as though yours is catching or rubbing at the same point causing the motor to slow which is causing the in/out movement, check all around the edge whilst it's not moving to see if you can find a snug spot , if it is no perfectly straight the lean will cause a rub

Balloon ride an tilt a whirl on the way. 94.00 for both. I got free shipping for orders over 60. I can’t wait my Christmas present to myself. How do you like all the different components in these? I love it!
@buildingwiththeboys2 жыл бұрын
I think the tilt a whirl is beautiful, it looks so much better than I was expecting, there is also a drop tower being released , these are very different to the traditional rokr models but I really like them !

I'm curious what you are going to think of the beetle
@buildingwiththeboys2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how I feel about the beetle, its a very interesting model but the wooden parts and clockwork were a huge part of Rokrs appeal for me, the beetle looks cool but is a plastic and battery model so I just don't know , I will get one to try it so will have a video up soon

That is what I feel about it too. Though I'm intrigued. Looking forward to your vid. Will subscribe to get a notification.

Well I bought the beetle believe it or not and that's the one I'm working on right now so yeah I'll let you know how I come out with it it probably take me about a week to two cuz this one took me a week and a half so but yeah it's going to be interesting I've never done one like that before so this should be a challenge but we'll see

You either have a loose connection or it is plugged into the wrong port in the control box , check all connections

Mine came out great on the sensors are paying the butt you know cuz you got to keep pressing on it but I'll have to figure that out but other than that it took me about a week and a half and the reason why is because well I became disabled partially to a car crash where I was at 125 miles per hour and die twice and had my fourth surgery on my left hand so I had carpal tunnel done and a huge mass removed so it's very hard to use my left hand right now but it came out great it does take a lot of patience and you've got to really concentrate and other than that yeah I mean I like it I think it came out really really good I actually decided to use a magic marker on some of them pieces like the flag and a few other pieces to make it look more authentic cuz you know these rides but yeah I love it but it was hard
