When I first saw the video title I thought Roku channel is the best clearly. Having watched your video I feel I need to give Tubi a try again. The Roku channel has older titles, which to me seem to have a low ad load. Tubi definitely has a greater variety of titles. Some of my favorite live channels on Roku have programming breaks without ads. I feel like the same channels on Tubi have more ads. It’s an interesting topic.

Yea, it really comes down to preference in our opinion as both are solid. Interesting, good to know.

You miss a little info when y'all was discussing both services streaming quality Tubi only streaming at 720p or lower resolution for both on demand content and the live TV section. The Roku Channel stream at 1080p for 95% of content whether it is the on-demand section or the live TV section. Which is why I did enjoy Amazon Freevee because there is streaming quality was also 1080p or lower.

Tubi has better movies, Roku has a good live guide and shows will be in 27 minute blocks for a 30 minute shows so the ads will be much less.

I think we're gonna see consolidation as far as free services. The fact that Roku still doesnt show you new channels when you use it, where as tubi does, makes tubi better.

Roku channel probably better overall. They are pretty much trying to be an alternative cable provider to the alternative cable providers with all their live channels they have been adding.
