I had a Roku player since 2010 and updated it in 2014 and now have a Roku TV and one in another room. I love it. Everything where you need it and no cable. Just antenna TV and then the streaming channels. You control what you watch. It's great.

Question, I'm new to Roku and just bought an outside antenna; but, it appears that the antenna channels that I receive are mixed in with the Roku Live TV. Is this correct? Also, with Roku I can receive CBS, NBC, & ABC - so why do I need an antenna?

I've had ROKU TV now for four years almost - it's a pleasure to have cut the cable - remember - cable USED to promise NO commercials (because you were paying for the content) but that quickly changed once the deluge of greed stepped in. So good riddance to bad rubbish!

Does anyone know how to retrieve the ROKU antenna icon? I have a ROKU Premiere + device, not a ROKU tv. I have an OTA antenna and I want to use the local schedule guide. I mistakenly deleted it. I've gone through settings, did a factory reset, system restart, searched the channel store and googled it, all to no avail. Always learn from Cord Cutters but, I've never seen this discussed. Thanks!

Can you do a show on the Roku Remote Control Pairing problem? How can you set your Roku streaming sticks 3800r and 3600 after you have a new internet provider ? Also can provide some solutions for Roku Remotes Controls that stop working with new batteries. Will not pair so I can set up my device and connect internet to Sony smart TV.

Great video. I have the Roku stick for my living room. I just bought a roku tv 32 inch for bedroom. I love the Roku tv. The OTA channel guide is awesome! Wish my Roku streaming stick had this same function.

@@msaries5 it means over the air. It's like the cable tv guide where it shows the channel, what show is on and time of show. Roku stick pulls all of those free over the air channels into a nice guide. Its really nice!

If your player has HDMI then connect to that. Look at back of player. If no HDMI then use whatever ports you have. The TV will have same ports. Walmart has just about any cable you need.

Somewhat new to Roku but not by choice. Quick explanation complex bought into a bundle deal with Spectrum and Spectrum only has their streaming app on a Roku or Apple device. I am An Android guy. Biggest complaint about the Roku is the inability to link sound to a portable speaker. I have a Bose speaker but cannot use with Roku. After investigating Roku wants you to buy their speaker. So no portable speaker or Bluetooth headphones with Roku. Boo!

Great info, but presented far too fast for first timers. Remember, people who are new to this device have little if any idea how things work. It takes a little time to absorb everything. I personally ran this at half speed and it helped me understand and absorb the material much better. We are not all rocket scientists.

I just ought a Roku TV (accidently) and I have internet and antenna connection. My local channels go from 2=69 . do i really have to go to favorite channels and scroll all the way down to 69 from 2 ?, that's not fun at all! Don't like doing that .

Select antenna it will scan digital channels and air channels, but you need to connect an antenna, my tv has a small antenna and it’s located by my bedroom window, so I watch live channels and others digital channels there’s is a lot of channels

Oh and I forgot to mention when ( my personal bluetooth ) feels like working I can’t watch the IMDb channel ... THIS is super freaky & only happens with IMDb ( which I refuse to watch anymore ) as the episode will freeze and a creepy demonic voice sounds through ( my speaker ) ... UPDATE: The demonic like slow-speed voice does also come from the Roku tv itself when watching IMDb ... VERY DISTURBING !

I just bought roku 4+ express. Problem is that if I want to watch roku I must remove the cord lodged into my HDMI2 which disallows me the chance watch my cable channels which means I don't have simultaneous use of cable and roku. I am new to the Roku tv and I’m enjoying it. I also watch over Antenna. On one of my OTA channels, the info screen displays across the bottom ( ch, program name, etc) and I’m wondering why. It looks like the signal strength is low (it also displays) on that channel. Is this why, or is it something else? I have an Element brand tv.

the factory speakers on these TVs are garbage,they sound like the treble is turned all the way up,iv tried to set the bass up and i have went through every setting,,the settings virtually do nothing,and even at times the speakers will cut out and completely sound like crap,,you have to unplug your tv for about 20 seconds to get this to stop

I have the TCL Roku 332. I don't have internet service, I bought this TV so I could broadcast my phone (note 5) to it. I had it working, then it quit. When I contacted tech support about it, they said to reset the TV. Now it doesn't even show the option to "screen mirror" or screencast". Any suggestions?
